Another beautiful girl will be joining my family. God willing soon. I saw this beauty on eBay and I couldn’t resist. She is an Angel Philia Mizuki. I got lucky and I just sold one of my resin bjds so I had the money to get her. I still need to Find a name for her

hmmm ok. yea it's pretty close but I think you're right the H3 does look bigger cause of the shape. But I guess volume wise probly close. Thank ya!

Also. Has there been anything in terms of gimonga-enourmous silicone breasts for AP dolls? Before I attempt to just make my own. I see them a lot for volks and even then seems like they're very hard to get even for those dolls.

The H3 is bigger 2 of my girls have the H5 and 4 the H3 and my girls with the H5 fit better in tops and dresses with that bust. While on my other girls with the H3 the tops and dresses are very tight.

Hi all- first post! Just purchased a white type S head as I really liked the Kumi sculpt but wanted a bit more freedom to commission a face up that is slightly less sad looking. Now I need a body but they seem to be sold out everywhere- do FaithZ, Mandarake etc restock on a seasonal basis or can anyone suggest where else to look? Thanks a lot in advance! 😊

Well, headless bodies are hard to find and cost almost as much as a full doll, so maybe it's better to buy an AP and resell the head? Or waiting... I don't think its restocking is predictable.

You could also go the DIY route - Obitsu bodies are around 200 USD on Parabox, and then you could slowly buy and replace parts with the AP parts you want. The only difference between an Obitsu 50 and a 48 is the legs are a touch shorter, which you can make happen by just sanding down the part of the frame between the knee andankle joints.

APs use the Obitsu frame, so there's no compatibility issues, especially since you won't have to worry about skintone matching since she's in whitey!

Ooh I’ve had a quick look at these and they could definitely be an option! Ready to get my first AP doll started!

Restocks of AP parts happen at a really irregular pace, every few months if even that. If you really want a body and don't want to buy a new one @ retail price, I also second the approach of buying a stock Obitsu 48/50 body and replacing the parts gradually as they come back in stock on AP's site, or paying up for the 1-2 pieces you need off FaithZ or this site's marketplace. Expect to pay around $50-$60 per piece + shipping.

(This is what I did for mine.)

If you have particular part(s) in mind, we could probably help you find it.

The only downside to consider is that AP arms, feet, legs, hands etc, are blushed, Obitsu stock parts aren't. They're blank.

I think I’m going to have this AP doll as a side project so I’ll keep an eye on the faith z website for a restock, and then once she’s face up’d and if I need a temp body I will use a stock body 

AP dolls will be my first step into the Obitsu world so I’m excited to get started, and especially with such a beautiful sculpt!

I got the bodies from Instagram just search the hashtag #bjdsales. I was lucky and found out two bodies for sale. The first one I found it using the hashtag the second one I put a WTB post and somebody contacted me

My new baby made her home she is SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! I named her Leona. Hopefully I will get her wig next week. She is like brand new. She wasn’t even stuffed. The only imperfection his the chipping one the blushing on her nipples and the previous owner gave her a beauty mark. But other that that she has no stains and the body and skeleton is in pristine condition.

Congratulations on purchasing your first girl! I can't wait to see what she looks like with her custom face up when you get her all painted!

As some others have mentioned - assembling the doll by purchasing parts may be a good option. Absolutely keep an eye on FaithZ & Mandarake - as was also mentioned, poking around in the #bjdsales tag on Instragram is also a good choice. My only other recommendation for parts or a headless  body would be Yahoo!Japan Auctions. It does unfortunately mean you're competing (unless there's an option to buy it immediately) with other bidders, but it's still worth looking into.

Yahoo Japan has been blocked in my country for a couple of months now (UK) 😢 but thank you for the advice I will be providing progress pics for my girl!

That brings me back to my question on airbrushing AP's. What's the best way to get the original paint/ blushing off in the event one wants to fix or redo something? Is rubbing alcohol or Acetone safe?

A new Ellie's going on sale tomorrow. There's also a mention of an "H3" lower torso. I don't know how this differs from the "H2" lower torso that I already have, but both are more flexible for crouching and kneeling poses.

Love how they gave her the Sonico headphones. 😆 More characters should use them imo, they're very cute. I wish they were easier to find!

She reminds me a bit of Futaba from P5. Not an exact match, or even a close one, but the vibes are the same.

As for the glasses, maybe they're a pair of those miniature glasses from the EPOCH gacha series? They're ~1/4 scale and pretty popular among doll glasses fans.

There's a legit pair on eBay last I checked, and a few third party ones also on there. I had a third party one on my Sonico for a while before I found the official one secondhand and the quality's pretty good!

I love the vibes I'm getting from her outfit too! This is similar to how I like to dress Mai, and I wonder where that cargo skirt and raglan came from - it looks similar to TTYA but isn't from there. It's very different from the usual AP clothing they've sold in the past.

I'm really curious too because these glasses, aside from the color are a lot closer to Mai's glasses as I draw them in the webcomic.

I think Ellie's popular because of the cuter anime look that pairs so well with the bodies.

I actually bought the Epoch glasses before but returned them because they were too small on Mai's 8-9 sized head. If they're the ones here, maybe Ellie's head is smaller?
