Mmmmh, Ellie is a standard 50-04 Obitsu head, I own 2 50-04 and they're bigger than AP standard heads, normal 6-7" wigs don't fit.

I'm with @chef_mai on that. I have a couple of the Epoch glasses, but they are too small to look good on an Ellie head (which should be very similar in size to Mai's), so I don't think it's one of those.

You can check Nine9Style, TTYA's website, and TTYA on Etsy. Sometimes you see stuff listed on one site but not the other.

I wish there was more wig information out there for these girls...does anyone with a Type G head specifically know if a 6/7 wig would be too tight to get on there? I've got a character with a ponytail that I'm planning on building, and I want a wig that's tight enough that it won't move even with the tail clipped on the back. I know 7/8 wigs are a safe bet, but my Sonico is practically swimming in the one she has on, which would be useless for my plans.

6-7" is the listed size on official products sheets, it should be perfect!

I didn't like Leona wig. Not sure if it was the color or the bangs. So I decided to try this old wig and I think it suits her better 😉

Made a pair of glasses based off my own glasses, however I didn't measure properly and made the temples a little too short 😭

Gonna have to remake, and re-mold a master copy again.

 

Tommy's restocking the AP school bags tomorrow. It's a steep price for an accessory but is a highly accurate replica of an elementary schooler's bag.

I figured you wonderful people on the AP thread would know best, so what is the best way to purchase an AP body? Buy a standard Obitsu and then the option parts or can you buy a body directly? I am not interested in a head at this time, as my plans are to put my DH03 head on the body.

Bodies without heads rarely go on sale (and when they do, it's about 75% of cost of the fullsets), so it's easier to start with any Obitsu and replace the parts on an as-needed basis.

How hard this is depends on what you have in mind. The parts (bust, torso, thighs) together will cost pretty close to the body only after all's said and done, so you can expect to pay somewhere around $350 USD shipped to the US for all of it.

The problem is that the parts have largely been out of stock for a long time now and haven't been restocked yet. FaithZ has a little bit more, but the markup is 50%.

A couple people are selling parts in the Buy/Sell forum.

You *might* have luck trying to split a fullset if the parts continue to stay out of stock. For example, buy Ellie, then let someone take the head (and any part you don't want) while keeping the rest.

Thank you for the advice. I just purchased an Ellie off of Mandarake, as she had all the parts I wanted, save for the C2 bust. So now I'll just trade the head for the bust or sell the head and bust to get funds for her C2 bust.

Does anyone here know how to attach a DD head to an AP body?

I just tried it out, This is an obitsu neck piece and you need to remove the part where the tweezers is pointing at, by unscrewing the screw at the bottom.

Which leaves these pieces

Attach the spring and peg in the DD head and apply compression pressure, thread the screw through the ball joint in the big piece and align the notch of ball joint to peg and screw in to place.

PS. I don't know how it would affect the vinyl in the head over a long period of time

The integrity of the vinyl around that spot may be affected over time if you twist and turn the head a bunch.

Good to know! I probably will have one 3D printed so I can get the exact size I need, and get it made for free at my local library to protect Yukino's head.

I have a DD head on an obi50, and I...just ended up removing the spring entirely because it was annoying me to much. 😅 She mostly just chills on my shelf so it hasn't been a problem.

Does somebody know a place where they sell affordable lingerie sets for AP. Especially that fits the largest AP bust?

 

My girls only have this one set that they share among them 😝
