It's a Leekeworld wig I got off Denverdoll. Some of the smaller ones like this aren't as nicely made as the bigger ones though, you have to style them right or you can see the threads. They do do some really fun color mixes though.

does anyone know how frequently quarantotto restocks ap parts, or how often faithz restocks theirs? currently looking for flat feet, hand set 2, and c2 bust in tan, but theyre all out of stock on quarantotto, and currently the only one in stock on faithz is the feet. im perfectly fine ordering from either site (or even a secondhand seller), but ideally i would like to get at least 2 things at once to save on shipping.

It's sporadic at best, but I've been waiting about half a year for a restock and am under the impression that the main site restocks a particular part maybe 1-2x a year. Since they're pulling from the same supplier more or less, the two should be restocking in sync with each other.

Past history shows they restocked the regular color parts in April and December last year, so we're due up for something soon (?).

My recommendation if you're picking up a main part like a bust, this unfortunately isn't the place you can save shipping on. Grab it while you can because it sells out quickly.

ill definitely keep an eye out for the bust and get that immediately, ideally i would like to get the flat feet and the hand set together, but i cant even find a sold out listing for the hands on manda. ill definitely keep checking everything as much as i possibly can though.

Trying to decide if I want a regular C or a C3 lower torso to go with the C-type thighs - I like the wider leg joint area, but I don't like making the upper half turn to the side. Also wondering if I should wait until they have a G or C2 bust in stock before I order anything. Would be easier if I could just get an Azone bust, but they don't have the tan.

Anyway sorry for the parts rant, here's some doll tax.

I ended up getting a combo bust and torso of the suntan from I think the Japanese site(a cool guy on discord sent me the link) it’s such an awesome combination of skin tones I wish they released it more often xD

Say, this is an old comment, but I happened to see her later in the thread and thought, "It's my girl!"  Emxi_Dolls on Instagram is who had her originally. I don't remember who the dye job was, but it may have been TrilliumBox. It was less faded when I got her originally. At first I didn't mind, but over time I could see that I wasn't going to be able to maintain her without proper knowledge. She's very missed, but I'm so glad she made it to someone who loves her as much as I do.

Someone in this thread had a chart of all the AP busts a while back along with an AZO2-G.

Very roughly speaking, this is what I feel the equivalents are for the smaller AP busts.

Obitsu S -> H2
Obitsu M = AZO2-C -> H
Obitsu L = C5

But I never used mandarake so I am a bit stressed. I wanted to try using alternate hands / feet from obitsu/mdd so wanted a color of Elle matching as closely as possible. Is this petite release a tan skin one?

You can use Faithz as an english resource for information on released dolls.

(And using Mandarake is a breeze!)

I just bought this beautiful head from Mandarake. I saw her and I couldn’t resist. I love this sculpt since I got my abuelita so I wanted one in whitey skin. Now I need a body for her. I think she will have short red hair. I can’t wait to get her home!!!!

Yes, Elle is tan skin - puchi/petite release has nothing to do with that (it just means a little more blushing in the face). The whitey skin version of Elle would be Ellie.

Also note that Elle should come with a couple of alternate hands already - three pairs total. Iirc it was: V-Sign (scissors), point finger, flat hand (paper).

I just got my new AP girl. I saw the head in Mandarake and I couldn’t resist. AP type H is one of my favorite heads since I got Abuelita and I wanted a sculpt to make a wild younger character.

 

 

I named her Tania and she is an exotic dancer/prostitute:p

Ok, somewhere I know I’ve seen an all inclusive skin color comparison for DD, SMD and AP. But now I can’t find it. Im trying to find DD tan vs SMD Tea vs AP tan 😅. Help?

It might have been one of @asianed's posts. I can't recall for certain though.

So this actually isn't Volks standard tan, it's Kanu Unchou's and one of the lost angels tan called sunkissed.

This lovely photo by @asianed shows all Volks and Smart Doll tea next to each other. It is lacking the AP comparison but the image included earlier in the thread shows the comparison to SMD tea very well.

I just wanted to say that isn't the official dream choice tan in the photo provided by @K-2 and that the dream choice tan is quite different to Kanu's tan. 😊
