I've finally decided to get an AP, but I can't decide between the tan or white skintone...My main concern with the tan is that there wouldn't be replacement wrists or shoulders in that skintone...my brain says to get the standard white tone but my heart says tan since tan vinyl dolls are so rare! Someone please help me decide lol!

(Also btw, the listing on mandarake makes it sound like they come with a couple extra hand parts, but I've seen others say that they don't come with spare hands...can anyone chime in on what the hand situation is?)

I did purchase some 14mm anime resin eye from ornellabjd so I will definitely update yall on how it looks! I really do not like the plastic look of some anime style eyes so finding some nice resin ones was crazy lucky on my end.

 

I also recommend getting the skin tone you wants! I personally like the tan. I don't find it dark enough tan but see it as more of a sunkissed and clothes look so nice against her skin. I always thought the white skinned ones, if they get stained, would be more noticeable but thats just me. My AP came with extra hand parts but I did get her second hand. I think as long as the listing says it does, it will come with extras. It doesn't come with extra hand pegs but changing hands isn't that hard~

Ah I can finally show you my sweet Emi~ I am not happy with her wig so I am waiting on a new one. She also is waiting on some eyes, a new bikini, and a stand so we can take more dynamic shots🤍

DoA moderators love to get you in trouble for every single thing. So don’t stress too much about it. Also, they are not very fond of AP girls there or any doll with big personalities. The comments I got when I posted my dolls there were always criticizing their big boobies and how much their backs might hurt. Even though they are inanimate objects made of plastic LOL

Thank you! I went with my heart and got the tan version (Konatsu). I just couldn't pass her up because tan+pear shaped+freckles+moles felt so extremely targeted to my tastes that I couldn't say no lol.

....also as soon as I got the notification that she shipped, I saw a tan J-type (Natsuka) go up on Mandarake as well, and uh....I guess Konatsu will also have a sister now 😅

I tried to searching around for this answer, but does anyone have any suggestions for shopping services to use for RAP’s website?

My Konatsu arrived today! Her wig just arrived yesterday even though it wasn't supposed to come until January. I'm completely obsessed, her thighs are so squishy! I've been using them like a stress ball lol. I had to stuff them since they arrived with a dent, but I was glad that they're still soft and squishy afterward. Since she has tan skin, her freckles are kinda faint, which is a little disappointing, but at least I know that they're there. I'm trying to figure out a good name for her...maybe something starting with K?

Also ngl, I knew that APs are more...anatomically detailed, but I was NOT expecting the butthole lmao.

Hi all, popping in here to ask maybe a newb question: Are there 3rd party parts makers for AP/OB48-50? Similar to Wersaze or Peach Pai for DDs or the folks that make boy MDD chests/torsos. I have a project in mind for my first AP but I'm wondering if there might be artist shell parts out there that would work better

imoneko on Booth makes busts for Obitsu 48-50. They also do body blushing for an additional cost.

I own an imoneko bust and have it hooked up to a AP type-C torso. It's a little tight around the trunk, but it otherwise fits pretty well. I have another on order since I'm deciding which of the two sizes I'll be sticking with (M or L). 

I'm less sure that it would fit a type-H torso. The trunk's a lot wider, so it'll have a weird bulge around the waist where the two parts overlap. The DD-sized bust might look and fit better.

Do you have specifics on what you're aiming for?

I was more curious than anything, since there are some....wild 3rd party options for DDs (like I remember someone made a chubby stomach for maybe MDD? It's been years since I last saw it. And there's those busts that are basically human-sized tatas on DD frames). I'm admittedly a bit embarrassed about what I'd like for the AP I have in mind, but oh well. I'd love to get an I-Type body and turn it into a femboy. I was wondering if anyone's made extra parts or whatnot to make that possible, if not I could always try my hand at making things myself (this is definitely a "far into the future" kind of project)

They have busts for Obitsu bodies on the second page (admittedly it’s really hard to tell what’s what if you’re not logged in because R-18 goods are hidden from public view).

That's going to be a challenging project. The type-I torso is as wide as they come around the trunk area. You may have luck if you try to slip on a DDS or DD SS bust on there and see if it fits.

(Someone here slipped on a DSS bust on an AP, so it's somewhat compatible)

Parabox makes boy bodies, but they are proportioned much slimmer than what you're after.

Felt a little spicy a few days ago and decided to give my girl her very own piercing 💕 safe to say I think she likes it? Was super scary to actually pierce vinyl but since I never plan on selling any of my dolls why the heck not! Plus the nips on these big bust just beg me to pierce them 🥴 Now to get another piercing in the same size and do the other one. Such a sweet face on a naughty body 😩

She looks wonderful!  It's sized just right for her too.  And with that cute look on her face, she's definitely liking it.  😄  Can't wait to see her with both nips done!

AP is finally selling the type-I parts a la carte on Friday. That includes the arms, legs, torso and bust.

If you intend to mix and match, take care to make sure your combination of parts will fit both literally and visually. And be prepared for stuff in your wardrobe to not fit at all or to fit differently.

This post should give you most of the pictures you need to make a decision.
