User tmdu0410 on Yahoo Japan Auctions sells a lot of Angelphilia parts and did have a blank Type-M head in Whitey a couple of months ago. All the ones they have now are Tan, but if you keep an eye on their listings you might be able to find it in Whitey again at some point. Or keep an eye out for Kaoru, who has the Type-M head.

Thanks so so much yeah I don’t really wanna cover up the blushing all that much because the whole purpose of an Angelphilia is more for adult collectors and I totally love that lol I’ll totally have to look up that user and keep an eye out hopefully I’ll be on here soon with my dream ap doll 💗 also blank would be fine because I do plan on repainting myself! 

sorry to keep asking questions here but does anyone know if white and whitey are interchangeable names for the same skintone? i had someone interested in buying my obitsu body on a different forum but when i mentioned it was compatible with the whitey skintone they said their heard was white... i've heard of whitey, super whitey, and tan but not just white?

They’re the same. The word in Japanese (ホワイトィ) literally translates to ‘whitey’, but is sometimes written as just ‘white’ since whitey isn’t a real word in English.

I absolutely love her! She's so pretty!  The skin tone looks great for her character too.  Great work as always!

Does anyone have any ideas on where to buy angel philia’s acrylic stands? I’ve gotten them from mandarake before, but they’re all sold out right now ☹️ I could use some ideas on where else to look!

They're only available direct or on Mandarake. They restock them from time to time, but that frequency of that is about once a year. Check their website regularly.

I used to have one but sold it to someone here. It's a great stand, but I found myself preferring to use a small footprint stand or a chair instead.

Thanks for the heads up! I suspected them only being available on Mandarake might be the case 😔  (I’ll just keep an eye out and hope for a restock!) 

In the meantime, a chair is very good advice— I’ll have to see what I can find and get set-up  😝

weird question but does anyone know if the vmf50 concept girl sayo is an earlier version of the ap type-m sculpt? i have sayo and a modded type-m and they look similar but also notably different but i didn't know if it was due to mods or different faceups o:

Sayo is a Type-m head. There are variaous type-m out there, but different faceups make really different impression!

 

ty! it's crazy how much bigger or smaller her eyes can look with different types of makeup. i love type m 🙂 

I adore Type M, I think it might be my favorite Angelphilia head! It has such a unique mature vibe.

@snailbox, @PlasticJester I feel like type M is one of the most popular sculpts (or maybe I’m biased because it’s one of my favorites as well 😉)

When I put my type M doll next to the more “loud” sculpts (like N, O, K, etc.), I think it can make the type M look more shy/reserved in comparison, which is very cute!!! (I have a Kokomi so I imagine her face-up also contributes to her looking that way 😆) it’s such a versatile sculpt

Awww, that’s so cute!!! I really love how different angel philia sculpts can look when they’re together versus alone— they’re probably my favorite dolls to pose together for that reason

I am working on building my last ap. So far, I have 4 technically 5 already. I'm just building my last girl, so I'm looking for the new body type i. Specifically the lower torso type i in tan. I have the other pieces of the body type arms, thighs, and chest not calves, but that part doesn't matter. I will just use different kinds of calves. If anyone knows at all where I can get the type i lower torso in tan that'd be greatly appreciated, I have tried everywhere else. 

I thought it only came out in super whity.

Hopefully some others have ideas of where to look, but it’s possible you may just need to wait for the parts to be re-released.

The usual places I’d look for any body part are qurantotto, faithz, and mandarake. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen an I lower torso on any of the three recently. When I got my I lower torso a few months ago it sold out really, really fast on qurantotto before my shopping service was able to get one. (I ended up finding one shortly thereafter from an expensive reseller on buyee 😮)

I’ll keep an eye out for you and let you know if I come across one!
