Mandarake do stock Angel Philia quite often but the drops are random, recently a type M girl Aizumi has been released from RAP and 
I’ve noticed that she sells as quickly as added so I guess the best thing to do is to bookmark a Angel Philia page and keep refreshing 
Aizumi is super popular as is all type M girls she is available on Faith Z but I can’t justify the markup like I recently got Elle from 
Mandarake as it’s cheaper for me as a Aussie to buy a complete rather than a body from secondary dealers 

so good luck in your search it’s worth it😁

Thank you! I noticed that Aizumi is part of new arrivals but never in stock! I think I will just go for the available ones on mandarake and then go from there. It seems like the markup on Faithz is significantly higher but it will secure the preorder I’m assuming ☺️

Even though they’re more expensive than mandarake, the nice thing about faithz is that you can preorder dolls (I’ve ordered AP dolls from them three times). It just depends if the upcharge is worth it to you to make sure you get a doll once the release is announced.
The one doll I’ve ordered off mandarake was what I’d consider a more unpopular sculpt (K :)), but I had no issues getting one once she released (like I waited a week or two after release before ordering and multiple stores still had the doll in stock)
 

That may have been different if it was an M, J, or S (which I feel are some of the most popular)— especially if the body has popular or unique pieces as well.

 

Of course I happen to like all the popular heads 😂😂😂😂 but I actually do like all of them so will get one from mandarake and look at faithz options. Thank you! ☺️

Me too. I only mentioned the heads because so many people seemed to want them, but they’re also restocking some body parts in Super Whitey.

Thank you! Finally nabbed a Type S in tan! Glad that the tan heads are less popular than the whitey ones because those are all sold out already.

There's a type-I body preorder in tan with type N head on the realartproject site! You'll need a vpn/proxy though. It also says 4 left in stock, I don't know if that's just the limit per person or the max amount left.

I’m really curious if anyone leaves their doll in (bright or dark) clothes all the time? I’m so scared about staining them and ruining the body blushing that I mostly use “fun” clothes for pictures and brief dress-up and only display them in white 😣

if you do keep your dolls in colorful/dark clothes for days at a time, how do you test/treat the fabric to minimize the chance of it staining?

If anyone's curious, GoldDin's elf ear (MSD size) fits Angel Philia perfectly. Their LUTS white is also an almost perfect match for Whitey skin too!

Those ears are SO cute!!!! Oh my gosh, I might need to get one of my girls a pair— I wish they had a match for tan and super whitey as well 

I didn't think an AP would ever be a doll I would consider getting for myself, but this one here from a faceup artist has kinda awoken the idea of getting myself one with this "femboy" look, haha.

I don't really know how to go about it though, can some of the more AP knowledgeable people tell me which body the artist might have there? The only thing obvious to me is that it's one of the smallest chest options, to emulate more of a male chest look. I'm also very interested which face sculpt that might be.

Can you post a photo? The linked page doesn't exist, or maybe it's the fact I don't have social accounts.

Of course, I didn't consider that people without a Twitter account might have problems viewing it.

Not sure which head and body Namazu uses in particular here, but based on their past work (I follow them, but mostly for their eyes) I’m guessing it’s a modded DDH with a Type C body.

The head is not a normal AP or OB head. It looks like a modded DDH, but also seems to be tan skin, which is not easy to get outside of Dream Choice. It could be DDH-12, which is just DDH-01 with the eyelids and mouth removed, or based on their blog it could be any of 27, 28 or 29. Hard to tell when it’s modded.

I know for a fact Type C is the smallest AP body—Tommy confirmed this when I asked about it a few years ago—but the new Type I body is the most buff. You could mix and match parts here (Type C bust and thighs with Type I arms, torso and shins) for a more masculine look, but the parts are not readily available so it will probably take a lot of time and money to put together, especially if you want Super Whitey skin.

Your best bet would probably be to buy a Type I body on Mandarake (they have headless bodies in new condition fairly regularly, particularly tan skin for some reason), and buy the Type C parts separately (which may or may not be a headache, depending on whether you want Soft Skin or not). I’d recommend the Kakuso torso here, but not sure if it can be used with the Obitsu frame. Hopefully someone who’s tried this combination will answer you.

Interesting, for some reason I didn't even consider that it could just be a DDH, because I wasn't aware that DD and AP would have such a close match. The head is honestly not my biggest worry, I have so many blank floating heads that are some variation of white skin, I'll probably find something to match there.

Well I would not go for tan anyway and I definitely want soft skin, because I think these dolls being so squishy is very unique, so I'm prepared that this might be quite the puzzle project if I decide to go with it.

I do have a semi-white Kakuso torso myself, but that's not really what I want to go for here, I feel the chest that Namazu's doll has there goes well enough along with the boyish vibe, as long as the chest is clothed. When it comes to the lower torso the type I is too toned for my taste ... I'd honestly would like to go with the "chubbiest" version that they have to offer, for a soft tummy look. Tha arm and leg parts of the type I look pretty nice though.

Do note that Volks Flesh/Fresh/Normal Skin matches Obitsu Whitey. If the head is Volks White or Semi-White Skin colour, you might need Obitsu Super Whitey, which is unfortunately Super Rare. There are AP parts in Super Whitey, but they’re very rarely released.

If you want Soft Skin then you’re in luck because that seems to be all they release nowadays. I wanted normal skin and it took me over a year (possibly two years, I don’t remember anymore) before I was able to get all the parts together, and I had to rely on FaithZ for the bust.

I’ve made a boy AP with an H2 chest, it definitely looks small (especially with the I torso, which is a decent bit more muscular in comparison.) I also personally really recommend the I arms and lower calves if you want your boy to have larger arms/legs. The I calves (which are pretty muscular) paired H thighs (which are thick, but not as thick as I thighs) make a great muscular leg in my opinion— I have that combo of leg pieces on one of my girls. 

Starting with an H body is a very good idea. You can always switch out parts as needed when you’re able to get them.

Congrats on your new doll! I love suzuka’s face-up, the type M sculpt is so versatile

So, my absolute favorite heels are made by rRabbit! I have one of my girls in their “curve platforms” and another in their platform pumps. Their 1/4 size will specify if it fits AP or not. 
Code noir shoes fit reliably as well— they have a variety of different styles depending on what you’re looking for!
