I recently bought a VMF50 risa head, am I correct to assume her eyes are painted on ? Has anyone modded her eyes to be normal holes ? I didn't realise that they could just be a façade 😆

Yes, Risa (and her tan version) has painted eyes. I have a modded Risa with eye hole and custom faceup, but I bought her this way.

she looks so good with holes instead of painted eyes, has DD vibes! I'm definitely leaning to commission someone to mod her eyes/do a faceup.

I just assumed the texture was softer and was thinking of picking some up next time they’re in stock, but the description on the website makes it sound like they’re made of extra thin material and says to stuff them “with something soft” if they don’t look right in certain poses. Then I watched a YouTube video about a Soft Skin Angelphilia and the guy said they NEED to be stuffed to hold their shape and that they stain easily.

Tbh they sound really flimsy and I’m having by second thoughts, so I’d like to hear what people that actually have them think of them.

I have soft skin dolls, the parts are made by a thinner vinyl and are more "natural" in posing (like leg to leg, arm on breast, breast to breast, etc).

I don't know about staining, but the softer vinyl tend to deform under pressure and mantain the new form. For example, every time I took Marie out of her box, her bottom was flat on the left. 30 seconds under a hair dryer and she regain her default form, no problem.

 

I've stuffed with cotton her thighs and abdomen, no more problem since then, never stuffed her bust, no problem either.

 

If you bend her body in certain poses, strange deformations can occur, obvioulsy, but stuffing or simply dressing can resolve 99% of the situations:

I saw that seller was selling a bunch of custom girls! Shame they dont want to deal with proxies because they all look so pretty and unique T-T

In other news, I fully assembled Succubus-chan (an athlete), an AZO2-AP hybrid and should have time to take a picture of all my dolls together after my classes end for the day!

I think she's a type B (VMF50 Kanu/Miki), not a 50-01. I'm normally not a fan of that sculpt either, but I agree the face-up is great, she's stunning!

Edit: The listing states Miki head indeed, + a 50-01 blank head as a bonus

Oh.. I wondered why that head was blank but showing a head with slightly different looks with a faceup! Were Kanu/Miki heads sold blank at one time? Is that the reason why this artist has them with custom faceups?

From left to right are their sculpts and parts: Obitsu 65cm male, Obitsu 60cm with DollyPop parts and PB Luna D head (formerly GONN 3.0), Angel Philia C4 and an AZO2 torso (formerly GONN 5.0), Obitsu 60cm with full DollyPop parts and an Obitsu 50cm with a PB Luna D head DollyPop and an Angel Philia H3 bust.

I hope somebody can help me with some pictures.

 

Do you know if the Obitsu regular 50cm legs would fit on the AP H torso?

She was the doll I wanted! I asked around about her head sculpt (Type-G, by the way) because I couldn’t recognize it without lips!

Did she come as a full set with her uniform, eyes and wig? Did you name her yet?
 

She was adorable from afar and is even more adorable up close! But not personal..

 

She came fullset and also with all these extras! She is even more stunning in real life. I haven't figured out her name yet, but I'm sure it will surface soon. 

I think..... I'm going to try to get her.  Hopefully she'll still be around even after the pre-order period ends.

I indeed purchased it blank, directly from the AP shop.

I have a photo request! I want to buy my girl a new bust, but I'm torn between C5 and and H! I really like the shape of C5 but only having reference images of it not on a doll makes it hard for me to understand the scale relative to the rest of the body, and I'm worried it'll look too big under clothes. If anyone has even just a C5 and can show a photo of it on their girl that'd be great! Thank you in advance everyone!
