I got my 65cm from Mandarake last May! I jumped on his listing as soon I saw it for 12,000 yen! I have to take updated pictures of him!

I also have some news.. I bought the Obitsu 48cm body! My favorite proxy (From Japan) and the only one I have ever used has Rakuma (essentially Rakuten’s flea market) on their site for 12,500 yen/$113! It definitely beats Parabox’s sale price for their new bodies! 16,000 yen versus 12,500 yen is a good deal! Saving money in this hobby feels great. 
 

The proxy has to wait for the seller’s response though, so I can’t get too excited yet! But I’m already nervously excited!

The soft skin Angel Philia tan parts will have to wait for a while! I need use the rest of my money for my school and living costs (Although I live at home, I don’t want to portray the broke college student stereotype!) 

However, if you are selling tan soft skin parts, then please let me know! I want her (doll number 7) to look like the tan version of this body!

 

Edit: I am beating myself up for missing a Mandarake listing for the tan skin type-H torso at 4,000 yen! That is one of the parts I need for doll number 7! Then again, I was in class.

@Rneiro i missed it too lol! I just ended up buying new from Faithz, but ouch the price :o( sadly my girl has been torsoless for too long so i decided to just give in.

also, a question for everyone: I know you have to heat up the hands to get them on the peg, but all the hands my girl came with (both sets) none of the hands fit, only the ones that came attached. I've tried heated them but they still don't fit! Should I just cut the inside away with an exacto knife?

You have to heat them for quite a while. I had the same problem as you because everyone said “heat for 30 seconds” but that’s not nearly long enough. You have to heat them directly for at least 3 minutes (hold the hair dryer over the holes as close as you can—I stick the hands into the creases of my couch to keep them from flying away). At that point, the vinyl should be soft and pliable enough to fit onto the peg.

I've seen a lot of obitsu 50 bodies for under $100 lately in eh condition. Might be good for the frame itself 😂 

@Rneiro ill be reunited with my hoard of APs and AP parts that I've been mailing to the states in a few weeks! I'll have a look if I have that torso when I do.

I will not attempting a faceup myself as I have on my DDH-16 head! Nope! Either I find one already painted or buy one and send it straight to a faceup artist! (Any suggestions?)

 

 

 

 

@zaada I bought this body for the frame! At least it looks like it's in good condition from the outside. But it's the frame that matters the most! I don't mind parting with the Obitsu 48 skin parts!

I'm buying a new chest frame part for Meigana because one of the armholes have cracked.. for the THIRD TIME!

I can only imagine the shipping costs for sending dolls overseas.. Please keep me posted!

@Rneiro hopefully they do soon! I feel like it's been a while since AP parts have gotten restocked, especially on Faithz!

I'm currently working on a faceup on my tan type M girl! Although, I'm a resin faceup artist, it's my first time for vinyl so I'm curious to see the differences!

I hope you can find a good artist for your girls! Although I don't think it hurts to practice more on spare heads, even if just for fun!

Oh dear.. I did something sort of similar last year by dragging out the transaction over months when it could've concluded in a week.

It was also my first time selling, so I had no idea how PayPal's seller-buyer transactions worked. I asked the buyer to send their payment around a certain time the night before I visited my university's post office and surprised/shocked them a bit.. Others buyers would have been scared off by this too.. The seller is supposed to accommodate the buyer, not the other way around!

At that time, I had no idea PayPal frozen the e funds until after the seller provides a tracking number and confirms it with the courier (for example, USPS or FedEx) and that the item is en-route to the customer. This process may take shorter or longer depending on the seller's reputation. This is what I have experienced as a new seller.

The buyer was super patient (but rightly frustrated) with me because they really wanted to purchase my Obitsu 65 male head. Nobody else would have tolerated that, nor would I had the roles been reversed. 

I included a wig cap with the head for free/with purchase, but that will not erase or negate the not-so-good experience they had with me as a seller. I never want to upset or frustrate anybody like that EVER again..  I feel guilty recalling this. 

I have spare doll parts to clean up and sell, so I will get more opportunities to improve as a new seller in the near future!

@Rneiro It was solve in a Friendly manner. The seller explain why she was taking look to ship and it was very reasonable reason. She finally was able to ship the body today. So God willing my Tiffany will have her body early next week

I made some clay tongues for my type o! I lost one of hers, either somewhere in my house or my dogs ate it 😵 so decided to try my hand a polymer clay. Not too shabby for a first attempt.  

 

I like them all.

Yes! I had the same idea and did try but its so hard at that tiny scale. I have to try again because it would look so cool! Definitely makes me like my type o more since different tongues changes her expression.

Now that I think about it (after a week), this is very likely a Mammodoll or another high quality silicone bust like Peach☆Pai/ぴーち☆パイ, however, Rajikaru doesn’t make their busts that large!

I think K-2 was just telling a joke when they said "when the C4 bust untwists" because I tried pulling down Suzuka’s, but it barely budged.

I have also been comparing Mammodoll busts with Suzuka’s soft skin C4 bust and have observed these traits:

-The skin wouldn’t be as smooth or full if it were a C4 bust regardless of it being soft skin or not. The AP skin is too thin unlike a Mammodoll or P☆P silicone bust!

-This is mentioned in the beginning of this post, but Rajikaru doesn’t make silicone busts that large.

And that is how I came to the conclusion that the bust in K-2’s post is a Mammodoll bust. However, only K-2 can truly answer this question.

Err.. Did I go too in-depth?

The bust that K-2 showed above has been severely modified from stock.  Normally that bust has one breast going one way and the other going a different direction.  He bought TWO of those busts, cut one of each breast off and then swapped the cut off breasts to the opposite bust they came from.  So basically one bust looks normal and the other has the breasts both pointing upwards.  He has photos of this somewhere here on the forums but I have no idea where.  

Calling @K-2 !!!  Can you please show that project you did with the two huge busts so everyone can see this is not one of those Mammodoll ones?  Thanks!

Sure are. I think I shared a link to them before. They are essentially strung hands. They can hold things but they aren't the strongest, definitely depends on the size and weight of what they are gripping.  But I definitely prefer them to immobile hands but they are expensive.

@MrFjmg03 Speaking of [doll] bodies, the Obitsu 48 body I bought to turn into an AP along with a plastic Obitsu stand and replacement parts arrived at the distribution center today! Also, could you show me the pictures you took of your AP tan body you created from a white Obitsu 50 body?

I have roughly 43 or 44 days left to add shipping instructions and ship my purchases before it is discarded. I won’t wait that long but I want to buy more wigs, clothing and accessories to get my money’s worth!
