I'm really loving the look of this body and how soft it is. I've known I intend to get a second tan lass at some point, so I'll probably make it a girl with this body, though swapping for a fuller bust size, someday in the future. 💚

Mandarake had it on stock last Saturday. I was so tempted to order it, but just like you I need it in tan. It will be the perfect body for my Abuelita

I saw this too. It appears to be in stock on FaithZ right now. Though it comes at the cost of an entirely new doll, except without the head... 😕 

Headless bodies from AP, unfortunately, cost almost as much as an entire doll. Considering how difficult it is to aquire a floating head I don't think it's very convenient.

I'm probably going to wait for a full girl in tan as well, but man. She's a must-have. The muscle body was already unique in the vinyl world, but this... I don't think there's a doll body like this in any medium that is readily available to many consumers. AP's team always nails the sculpting so beautifully.

I received my type I body last week and I'm just happy I perordered it. I do love they are finally getting a new body shells finially after years and it is sculpted by a sculptor I really likes(their page :https://www.obstetricianm.com/). Hopefully this one will add in their usuall line up like type H.

 

The head I'm using a 3D printed resin head acttach by the stock obtisu neck peg, this body is way more thick then type H I can't not fit my type C parts on them. This head I'm gonna send it for casting in resin soon. Personally I do like buying unpainted body more because I like to do painting myself, but yep this body is costy.

 

My newest girl. I bought an older AP body for her second hand, but it was more yellow than the head. But thankfully the body was a perfect color match for an older AP head I have, so I end up swapping the bodies. Also some of the parts because the body I have was made of old Obitsu body with new AP parts. So I was able to create a better color match for both bodies. The bust is not the one I want for her. I want the more natural saggy one. Also the “new body” has a faint smell of cigarettes or smoke, so I will need to give it a baking soda treatment to get rid of the smell. (The disadvantages of buying second hand….advantage was the price LOL).

 

This is my new girl. Her name is Gloria. Undecided about the wig. I want to use a wig I already own so I don’t have to spend money in a new one. I like these two wigs on her 😛

The head I send to cast in resin returned and I'm really happy about it. Shockingly stock OB neck peg supported it really well, the last two attempts of a big Megatron doll failed miserably so here we goes again but with a full casted resin head instead of just a bucket helmet like the small ob24 doll I have (currenty its a ob11), 3rd time is a charm at least I hope it is.

Well, there's the Market Place here for trading, selling, wanting, but other than that I really don't know.

Today I'm really, really, really, REALLY happy.

Back in the days, when I decided to buy my first doll, my first Angel Philia, unfortunately my favorite, Yuuna, had been sold out and out of stock for some time.

So I bought my beloved Marie, naively hoping that sooner or later I would have the opportunity to buy Yuuna's head to recreate her too with the right pieces (H3 torso acquired).

It was September 2018...

Other heads have come into my sights in these years of monitoring Mandarake, but no trace of Yuuna.

After 5 years the hope was almost extinguished... until two days ago!

 

A series of heads finally arrived from Complex in excellent condition, I couldn't believe my eyes and I immediately took it. Now it's on its way and let's hope for the best...

Oh, for those interested, there is still one Ayano head unsold, I don't have any tan AP, otherwise I probably would have bought that too.

Tan type-I preorder just dropped, with type J head 

I'm a bit late to the type-I discussion, but I'm liking the look of it quite a bit. The thicker, more athletic torso balances out the legs a lot better than on the existing type-H bodies and sorta matches what I originally had envisioned for Mai's body type (athletic and lean).

The torso will still be short for most DD clothing, but bottoms will likely fit as good as ever due to the thicker waist making skirts and shorts sit about where they would on a DD/SD rather than sitting low like they do right now.

I haven't seen any pics of what type-I looks like dressed in clothing that isn't from AP. Would be interested in seeing what they look like in Azone stuff.

Edit: Actually, based on this blog post, the torso is a touch 'longer' than standard Obitsu through some clever skeleton tweaking where the pegs are pulled out a little.

I could see the type-C busts being a tight squeeze, but type-C legs didn't fit either?

Would obitsu 60 cm clothing fit on type H body?? I feel like it would judging by the measurements except for it being long. But I'm not sure, have you guy's tried it?

Regular Azone bottoms (non-AZO2)? Based on my experience owning a type-H body, it will be a squeeze and will be quite short, even by AP standards. Skirts of the button type vs. hook + zip might not close up. I've posted quite a few pics of what clothes look like in that body.

AZO2 skirts will fit the best. I'm not sure if the AZO2 shorts will fit, but the TTYA ones likely will not since they're already such a tight squeeze on the type-H.

AZO2 dresses will look great if they can slip past the legs. Anything that doesn't fit can come on over the top.

 

 

Hello! I am so excited to be waiting on my AP Riko I purchased second hand yesterday from @MrFjmg03 😄 I found this forum through have Den of Angels through them so no surprise I NEEDED to make an account. I have owned AP's once before in 2017 but sold due to just being in college and needing a little money. I am so excited to get back in and showcase my new girl as I hope she will be the last in my doll collection. 

I am hoping to get her repainted in 2024 and am looking to do a Bimbo Barbie soft girl look. I am still torn between keeping her big bust or her small bust. Big bust suits the aesthetic I want but limits clothing. Small bust just doesnt fit that Bimbo look I want. The dilemma!!

I also wanted to ask! Can I see some AP's with more anime eye's? I am considered her to have more anime/manga style features yet have the realism. I don't know if that would look odd since Riko does have a more open eye expression

^I'm also curious about anime eyes for them, but I wonder if they make anime eyes small enough for them? Most of the sculpts have pretty narrow eyes.

Also I'm so sad that the Type J girl is already sold out! But her sculpt is gorgeous so I get why she's so popular.

 

I've finally decided to get an AP, but I can't decide between the tan or white skintone...My main concern with the tan is that there wouldn't be replacement wrists or shoulders in that skintone...my brain says to get the standard white tone but my heart says tan since tan vinyl dolls are so rare! Someone please help me decide lol!

(Also btw, the listing on mandarake makes it sound like they come with a couple extra hand parts, but I've seen others say that they don't come with spare hands...can anyone chime in on what the hand situation is?)
