They will fit nicely for their flat feets, and a lil bit loose for their high heel feets.

Flat feets, you mean the feets from parabox/obitsu?

Actually angelphilia and VMF50 releases some of their girl with flat feet, but yes the feetwas exactly was the feet that obitsu/parabox girls use (minus blushing and painted nails)

2 my older dolls has flat shoes, while newer 4 has high heels.

I'm kinda... sad? at the moment. Or upset, I'm not sure.

I take painting class. Today, I was showing pictures of AP dolls I have, to one of the girls in the class. Our teacher saw it, and she became so, mmmm... bitter. Said that she is so offended such dolls even exist, this is very offending to women, people who get them are definitely weird (thanks, teacher). And that Im prohibited to bring them to class, ever. Like I would, huh.

I know its nothing, but I feel sad for some reason ( May be its the full moon, or something

Azone 50cm bodies, Angel Philia, Pink Drops, VMF50s, Visuadolls, and Parabox bodies all use the Obitsu 50cm body as a base, so a lot of the clothing and shoes (and body parts) made for these girls are interchangeable. You just need to be aware of the larger bust and hips on some of the AP, VMF and PD girls.

This isn't a house painting class, is it? I assume it's more like a fine arts painting class. Does this teacher get offended by the works of Picasso or Matisse or Dali? Or does this person just teach the painting of fruit bowls?

These dolls aren't for everyone just as football (soccer), white wine, and broccoli aren't either. You should be respectful of her opinion as it is her class, but don't let it bother you. There are plenty of normal people who love these dolls. I just find it strange that someone in the arts, a field known for free and innovative thinkers, is so narrow minded. Well, to each his/her own.

Dont let it bother you and make you sad, I just kinda sad that theres a people that still offended with certain things/ art piece and still narrow minded, (especially when her was a art teacher) maybe you should let her/him see any enchanted doll by Marina Bychkova, this doll was high art porcelains doll, will the teacher still bitter about sexy and naked doll. Anyway please dont be sad, you are not alone, we are here, we have the same kind hobby, same kind doll, so dont let somebody opinion makes you rethinking about this hobby, do it for your own happyness (sorry for my broken english)

Haha) Yes, sadly its not a wall painting classes, cause at least it would leave some room for understanding. I'm going through Monet techniques at the moment..

She said, AP made to satisfy males (??) . I'm pretty sure, there's another type of dolls exist, for male satisfaction. And they not AP dolls

I also find it strange, someone who spend so many years in art, see this dolls as sexual objects. That narrow interpretation kinda freaked me out, because I was always thinking, artists are versatile. You can turn same object into a porn-related, or innocent - viewed. Ah, whatever.

Thank you for support, K-2!

I also didnt expected it from the art teacher. My mistake

I dont think she will except any doll, honestly. As I understand, for her any more or less anatomically correct doll is a sexual object for males

She is a feminist, as she say, but I dont find it so. To me, feminists, are women who help to bring females rights on the same level of males, as being able to study, being able to choose your partners, being able to decide when to get married, if to have children, etc. Those are not women, who wear cheap bad looking clothes and no make up and yell at their husbands, - thats what she do, and in her mind, this way she makes males less important, which is a job of feminist (??)

Shortly say, to me feminists are not the women, who decline anything womenish. It's not against being a woman, it's to be able to be a woman in a free society.

I think I just have to print my Momoko naked on a t shirt, n attend class wearing it, one day

Your english is totally fine, I'm neither a native English speaker, we are on the same page here)

Thank you, yokha!

In my opinion, she would be either conservation extremist OR the notorious 3rd wave feminist. Similarity point is that you have no need to heed their opinions as both of them are selfish and self-centered (redundancy is intended). Plus, if that coming from an art teacher, I think she really need to learn her priorities right. Art before obscenity and not the opposite. If I were you, I will probably do nothing physically, but in my heart, she is already in my "People to be avoided" list. Finally, I would say is "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and do not let people clouded your preferences.

I had a coworker who almost flunked out of college over the argument of comics as an art form. Needless to say, she took it all the way up the Administration ladder and transfered to a more open-minded instructor...After getting her biased grade reevaluated.

She thinks, dolls are joke, nothing important. I already had a couple of weird moments with her and her boss, who is also my teacher, and for the moment, I just trying to finish what I started here, and then move somewhere else, if I find the right place.

You know, she spent like 40 minutes once, telling me I have to be more open to contemporary art, but when she glanced at doll's pix, it was all "horrible! offensive! can't exist!!" comment.

Sometimes, I'm not sure, does ignoring helps or rude words are?

I understand your co-worker

My teachers think, all the classic art is boring and non-a-matter thing. I love all the awesomness of perfect past era paintings, but for teachers I'm with now, only mixed media stuff is a real art work.

Comics are "useless", as they make no "social changes", according to them.

Well, may be there's no changes, but good made comics and graphic novels are better to look at, than something what looks like a drop of phthalo blue on the canvas, and suppose to mean the "open mind of inner universe"

Dunno what to said but im glad im always surrounded by open minded peoples, for me comic was made from a drawing (eventho nowdays everything was done digitaly) and drawing was always been one form of art skill, same like painting, maybe because theres a text on it they think its not a form of art, im good at drawing, painting and sculpting and my parents and teacher always encourage me to make comics or being a part of animation studio (but I choose a different path as an ordinary salaryman lol cos im suck at making stories) just dont mind those shallow minded peoples,we cant expect everyone in this worlds has the same mind set as we do. My parents and GF and coworker respect my hobbies so its enough for me.

Anyway we been kinda OOT here, how about whenever we sharing something we always post pict of our girls at the sametime . Hha

yokha, how pretty she is!!

I love her shoes, really nice. I think you gave her really good style, it suits her!

I would love to share pictures of my dolls, but we are still waiting for their stuff to be shipped. First, u spend $400 on dolls stuff, and then u wait weeks for it to be done/shipped. "its a hard knock life for us..."

Anybody used those japanese shopping service companies? I need to get something from yahoo auction, but I've never done it before. One friend said buyee is ok, but then there's a lot of negative comments about that them.

just reading the last few posts that's very sad a Art teacher is so closed minded. Dolls are a large part of art since they are a sculpted piece of work. the over the top shapes that these girls have are "sexual" but saying they should not exist is to stupid. if shes offended by such things i would think any nude piece of work is offensive to her so i would not take it personally. and as for your work wise do what you like if they mark you down for this go to the head of the department and complain.. her pressuring you personal work to her opinion is not how a teacher works. My art teachers were happy for me to cover every single work book of mine with doll and anime images, even my fine art tutor thought anime is a good thing though most artists see it as nothing more then a money spinner and so on.

in my art college i used my dolls in my work before and teachers were happy to for it. in my sisters University a girl used her dolls as her final project and get very good marks.

your teacher is just closed minded and it show why they have to work as a teacher and not a artist. she wont get far in her work not looking at all art as art.

I use Japan Auction Service for both buying on Yahoo Japan Auctions and retailers who don't sell/ship internationally (Angel Philia, Real Art Projects, Obitsu, etc.). I've used them since 2008 and have made dozens of purchases.

For me, I have been using www(dot)fromjapan(dot)co(dot)jp which provides similar service to jauce. fromjapan also can help you purchase almost anything which only available japan provided you give them the links to the products. They also support other shopping sites such as amazon, zozo, rakuten and etc. The fees are far more cheaper than buyee. While I have been using them just recently, but so far I have no problem with their services.

I've used both Noppin and FromJapan to bid on Yahoo Japan, and FJ has been my favorite because of the lower fees(200 yen+5%) compared to other deputy services. They also had a site renewal recently so it's a lot more user-friendly now. The main downside to FJ in my opinion is that they only hold items in storage for 30 days once it arrives, while some other services allow for 60 days.

Urd just need her costume, and skuld... I still cant decide which head sculpt should I use for her, and finding 40cm obitsu body for her was kinda difficult now.

Angel Philias are designed by some one so they are subject to that person's tastes. There are also other restrictions to the design, which have to do with the Obitsu skeleton, finances, etc. The more parts that are changed, the more the cost. Same goes for Dollfie Dreams. We should probably be thankful they both aren't designed by the same person or we'd be looking at much similar dolls.
