Has anyone seen owner pics of Mona yet???

I forgot to ask in my previous post....does anyone have a Dollfie Dream Sister body that they could post a comparison photo with an Angel Philia H body? The measurements are almost exactly the same for waist and hip and I assume one of the bigger AP busts would be close to the DDS measurement. I am thinking that the length of the torso is probably longer on the DDS but am wondering how big of a difference there is.

I’m waiting for my Mona to ship right now.  I’ll be happy to take photos of her next to my Mariko who has an L Shapely.  Frame wise, Angel Philia is about the same size as DDP.

This is a super good post that shows the relevant Obitsu size vs. Pretty and Sister.  I think the larger bust sizes would definitely be similar to sister measurements for the actual breast part, although the body frame itself is smaller.

A picture of my friend’s very pretty Kokoa!  I’m so jealous she’s already here.  I hope EMS doesn’t take too long.  I’ll definitely order straight from Japan next time, although FaithZ have been super good to work with.

She’s actually planning to swap on a Dollce head once she’s all dyed and painted.  I think she might enjoy her as she is for a while though.  It’s her very first big doll after wanting once since being a little kid lol.  Even though she’s been around my Dollfie Dreams, it was still a big surprise to her.

Gabihime: I look forward to seeing you pics. As fast as Mona sold, I have been surprised to not see pics of her yet. I am thinking that the DDS is going to be a little bigger overall in scale than the APs too. I had DD and Smartdoll before but prefer the smaller dolls. I have never seen a DDS in person so would love to see a comparision pic. Congrats to your friend too. Kokoa was my very first AP. 

Ok, someone posted a link to detailed DDS measurements in another thread so I could do a comparison. The shoulders are wider on the DDS and the torso is longer. I thought the overall scaale would be a bit bigger than the AP and it looks like it is. Thanks for all the responses!

This is my first AP girl, Lita (Meru)~ somehow she's turned out very pastel, but when I get more stuff for her I'd like her to look more like a high maintenance princess, lol.

so I tried my hand at making my girly a yarn wig as a replacement

It looks like FaithZ has some full whitey bodies in preorder right now if anyone's interested. Type-C A, B and C sets, and Sayaka.

I'd be tempted, but still debating what color I want/getting an Obitsu50 body and slowly replacing parts would be cheaper for me in the long run/ELSA. I might grab the b-type arms soon since those are the only parts I am 100% sure I need - I'd really be fine with any decent-sized breasts, maybe some thicker legs...it depends what kind of outfits my girl will actually end up wearing.😅

My two Soft Skins Walnut and Cashew (a.k.a. Mona).

Yeah, I'm going to name all my Soft Skins after mixed nuts.

Walnut (on the left) is white skin and Cashew (on the right) is super white. Both have been stuffed with polyester batting. Even though Cashew came with flat feet she did not have magnets installed. I went ahead and installed magnets from some old "tall ankle" feet. I've got a Obitsu large bust in super white. Maybe I'll swap that in at some time.

Congrats on Mona! The color looks gorgeous (perfect for a vampire...), I hope they make more dolls and parts!

My AP Kiara arrived as well recently, after 3 months in transit... fortunately, the box was undamaged. I have switched her bust first thing (I was sure I was going to either tear her head or neck when I was trying to remove the head... The chest inner part separated from the hip part before the neck even decided to consider getting out) to a more reasonable size and wow is she gorgeous. I don't think any of my SD/MSD clothes will fit her, but we will try when I have more time. I am planning to change her faceup to a vampirish/red lips/mature one in the future.

I wanted to ask, does anyone have any experience with changing AP eyes? I am not a fan of those that she came with. I would welcome advice on removal, material and insertion.

Yay!!! I have been waiting for pics!! I like the super whitey. 🥰

Irulazuli....3 months???? OMG, I would have gone nuts!! Glad the package arrived safely. I use a hair dryer to warm the vinyl eye pockets inside the head then push the eyes out carefully. Then I warm them up again and put new ones in. I have a head I got second hand and the previous owner trimmed down the vinyl on the eye pockets to make changing the eyes easier. 

I got my beautiful new girl in and took some photos of her with the rest of my crew to show scale!  The match for Volks WS isn’t perfect, but when she has her wig on it looks good because of the color shift around her face.  All in all, I’m so satisfied with her.  I’m absolutely in love with the way this doll feels to handle.  I’m definitely going to be getting some more AP/PD girls.  I’m so happy!  Gabriel is finally the right height and proportions, although those breasts aren’t the right size for her as an adult.  It’s more like age fourteen.  I do have a soft bust in the mail though!  Looking forward.  Her head isn’t completely on the peg right now.  I need to Dremmel the neck tube some.  The conversion kit I bought needed a little work.
