Hello everyone~ thought I'd drop by and say hi since I've lurked around for a while without actually signing up...

I've been in the BJD hobby for several years and have acquired a few resin dolls but I don't have a DD just yet. I'm saving up for a wonderful DDH-06, however and can't wait to get her home~ >v<

The 06 is a great head mold, it seems so versatile~ Are you going to paint her yourself, or commission someone to paint her for you? Do you have a character in mind? ^_^

As a matter of fact, I was initially going to try 03 but decided on the 06 for that specific reason actually (: she can have so many different looks depending on how she's painted. For a start I think I'll just try and give her faceup a go myself, I've been doing my resin crew's faceups myself for the longest while but have absolutely no experience with vinyl so i'm just a little fretful about it. In case I fail miserably she'll probably go off to someone more experienced.

 

As for a character, yes, I do have one in mind for her. > u< She'll be the shell of a slightly old, recently revived mindchild of mine, Yumemi Mariko-san, a slightly bashful elementary school teacher. (which is a little relieving because I can prepare things for her in advance, like sew and buy a few clothes, a wig, eyes...) What I find rather funny is that she will be among the oldest characters of my crew despite having such a cute, youthful face~

Oh, that's such an interesting character storyline!! I can't wait to see her once she is completed. I really like her name as well~
