I have already favorite'd all of these on your flickr stream. ^^ I LOVE the octopus. You have to name him if you haven't already. As for the rest of the images...thank you for totally destroying my mind with cuteness, I don't think I'll be able to function for a little while- I'll have to go watch the news or something to bring me back down!

Haha, my Saber is already in her outfit =3 She actually has some emotion now with her lion outfit and tiger slippers on. Can't wait for Noumi's bunny pajamas to get here next month since the fabric on these is just so soft >.

How about Otako (O [honorific prefix] + tako [octopus])? It sounds like "otaku."

That's actually quite clever! ^_^

Will anyone be able to top your suggestion?

I dunno... I think that is super cute!

Maybe even Otako-sama to make it extra redundant, I guess. Lord Octopus!

XD that's also pretty epic! I'll have to let it grow on me a little and see if something sticks - Sam picked up a couple small plushies for our girls to play with today, I'll have to post a picture with them tomorrow ^_^

You should name him Bubbles. That seems like the kind of name an octopus would have! That or THE KRAKEN. Even though krakens are squids...

By any chance do you know the word for "orange" (the colour not the fruit) in Japanese?

Bobo?

What do Tsubo and Momoji translate into?

Bobo is a noun for baby or doll.

Momoji is the name for a message doll.

And, like Mitsuki said, Tsubo = jar.

It's a weird name, indeed.

By any chance do you know the word for "orange" (the colour not the fruit) in Japanese?

The color "orange" in Japanese is daidaiiro.

Iro = color.

Daidai is an Asian variety of bitter orange.

I'll suggest more when I can. In the meantime, I guess a little research wouldn't hurt.

Does daidai taste good? Is it too bitter to eat? Can it be a tea?

Does daidai taste good?

Yes. I think the older you get, the better it taste.

Is it too bitter to eat?

The taste is only slightly bitter, so you don't need to worry about it being too bitter. I think the bitterness of the daidai actually adds a very refreshing taste to the overall fruit.

Can it be a tea?

I don't know about whether or not it can be used as a recipe for a tea, but I have seen Japanese chefs using it's skin for some type of dishes.

Daidais are common during the Japanese New Year, since these fruits are used for kgami mochi, a traditional decoration.

Daidai sounds good. I like citrus flavors. Thanks for sharing, Halcyon. If I meet a daidai, I won't hesitate to try it.
