Suu from Clover - advices needed

Hi

As I don't have enough DD at home ( cough cough ) and as Volks will probably never release CLAMP DD dolls, I plan to make my own Suu from Clover custom.

 

So I would be grateful for any help, advice especially about the head I can use to match her the best.

I would prefer a NS doll, but WS is okay too. Sorry in advance because I am picky.

Limited heads are okay, just I will need a few more time to achieve

 

For those who don't know Suu, here are a few pics

Body would be DDS or obitsu 48, S bust

 

Head would be ???

My first idea is Mariko with a small remakeup, but I am a bit hesitant because she is WS.

she has to be a young and innocent girl, with no smile.

 

Wig ??

It will depend of the final color of the head I think.

If NS I think uniquegray from leeke could be great, but I never saw it in real.

 

clothes. I will see when I will found the doll but any advice would be great too.

I would love to see Suu in DD form! I always wanted to create her wings for my DD so I will keep an eye in your project!! Sorry for not giving you extra advices, but I would choose 06 head for her ^^

I'm not sure Suu would be as pale as white-skin, in my opinion. In all the colour illustrations there's a clearer contrast between her skin and her white hair and outfits. I think she'd look better as a normal skin, but that's just me~

 

I think that Moe's head would be nice for Suu. I think they have similar angularity of their chins and I think the eye shape would be a decent match.

 

I think Mariko's face is too scared/unsure for Suu. Suu doesn't have that type of expression; she's sometimes serious and a bit melancholy, but not necessarily timid.

 

I really ♥ Clover and I'd love to see a finished Suu~

I would prefer NS than WS too, because WS are more fragile and I would like to be able to "take her" with me in little excursions or so.

Moe is a great idea, I totally agree for the chinks. Not sure the mouth can be done " less smiley" though.

 

Does anybody already try to change her expression? I will ask for a remakeup anyway.

 

I really like Clover too. It is so poetic!

I've always pictured Rei 2nd version (the one that came w/ maid outfit) to be a Suu just in different coloring... and on DDS body, because she's smaller than everyone else around her

Rei would be great I think, but she is also WS.

Yuki's "smile" is perfect I think! Not sure the angularity of the head would fit though.

Arg why am I so picky?

 

For now I am hesitant between Moe and Airi ( queen blade). Perhaps Kotori too. I perhaps should make a pool.

 

I also had a look at SQlabs heads. With the release of their new body, I could try to make her in resin, if there is a head who match her better. But I have no experience at all with SQlabs heads, so any help would be appreciated too!
