Tsubaki's New Wig!

Tsubaki's wig from cool cat came today! It was a birthday gift from my dad - it's only 1 day late so XD haha. It's so pretty *w* and bright and shiny >w< especially in the sun! I decided on red because her faceup has a slight reddy tinge in rl and she's named after the Red Camellia so it only makes sense! But she won't wear it till I get a body as it's long ;3; she has a brown one coming in the mail too I purchased from a fellow member - which she will wear till she gets a body. This one is her default though She's adorabuble!

 

But I swear I've put her wig on wrong :T being a noob and all. It's kinda on the wonk =_= Still cute!

 

 

Tsubaki has a pencil body for this shoot XD

Those twintails are cute! It's was kinda hard making them stay cuz of the little amount of hair and they have strange grey string from them or something that got in my way XD I think you can see it. But they sure are cute nontheless

Nice wig! It'll be awesome once she has a body.

 

I've got that wig in that color and in a few other colors, because they're handmade, they tend to lay a little oddly sometimes. With some adjustment and brushing it should settle down some.

Oh I see. It was twisted though for sure XD So when she gets a body I shall have to play around a bit to get it right >w< They're really lovely wigs though!

Yup, I trimmed her bangs myself with scissors. It's not perfect by any means but I like how it looks on her.

Haha thought so ;D Does your wig stain? When I was putting on Tsubaki's other wig I noticed she has very subtle red patches above her ears D: I don't if it's just me or :S

Nope, the wig on Miyuki hasn't stained her at all. The cap itself is kind of a light color so it didn't seem to cause any issues for us.

 

Sorry to hear you may have some small ones. You might need a cloth wig cap just in case.

I don't like the cloth caps D: Cool Cat sent me a free silicone one with the wig - I'd planned to get one of those from the beginning. I think it might be cuz I didn't put the wig cap on properly :T I ordered some magic erasers though after Annie told me bout them to see if they help.

Trust me, I'm not a fan of the cloth ones either.... BUT.... the silicone ones do NOT protect against stains AT ALL. Stains will go right thru them with ease. So if the wig you have has stained Tsubaki's head, that silicone cap will NOT protect her. You can get a cloth one and put it over the silicone one tho, it holds better that way.

 

Hopefully the Magic Erasers will clean her up, but if they don't, you'll have to get something with 10% benzoyl peroxide to take the stains out. I always use Oxy10 to great effect but I hear its hard to get over there. Just look for some zit creme or a similar product with that listing I put. You should be fine.
