Today's Cosplay Rin: Sailor Mars (Miko Ver)

It's been a while since we've done a Cosplay Rin segment. The arrival of a certain long sought-after outfit enables a couple new characters, one of which we show today.

 

Rei Hino serves as a shrine maiden when she isn't going to school or fighting demons as Sailor Mars. These are a few of the activities she might do day-to-day in care of the shrine.

 

Every good miko needs to sweep the grounds to keep them clean.

 

R(e)in helps someone find their fortune for the year from the omikuji can.

 

Yoma will not infiltrate the shrine during meditation time with R(e)in on watch.

 

Outfit/Sandals: Volks Coveted Shrine Maiden Set

Broom: Kirisame Marisa default

Omikuji: once a keychain from Marukai

Ofuda: Touhou accessory set

 

About Cosplay Rin: A periodic series where Rin-chan shows her playful side, dressing up in fancy clothes as other characters. She tends to keep her own hair, of which she is so very proud, but change her outfit appropriately to the character. Who do YOU want to see her dress as next?

I've always been a fan of the miko outfits and have wanted one since I started the hobby. But everytime I see one, it's silly money.

 

Rin looks really great in this! The colors go well with her face. And all her little accessories make her feel even more legit as a shrine maiden. Nice job on those!

Congrats on finally being able to get this lovely Miko outfit for Rin. She looks beautiful in it. I especially love that she is playing tribute to Rei Hino. That is a wonderful cosplay for Rin to do.
