Which one is the most sought after?

Are you asking because you would like to know which is the best investment?

Of the 3 you listed, without question in my mind it's Nanoha.

Although if you're trying to pick which one of the 3 will be easiest to acquire right now, it'd be Haruka.

Since You rather cannot buy her cheap now, the investment won't give You much profit anyway...

I don't want a profit..I just want a good doll, that will be easy to sell back for the same price I pay

Any DDs will not decrease in value, so it's not a problem.

But if You already want to sell it later, even for the same price, why bother to buy it at all?

I don't think this hobby is for You...

I think if you're not sure that this is the right hobby for you, but you want to give it a whirl by getting your first DD girl, it's not unreasonable to want to be sure of the resale value. Especially if you're coming from another hobby where items can depreciate quickly. I felt that way with both Pullips & Blythes.

When I purchased my first Pullip, I really wasn't sure that Pullips were right for me (especially because I didn't know anyone else with one, and had never been able to handle one before), but I really wanted to try. So I bought one, and thankfully I fell in love.

Same with Blythes, but I totally didn't fall in love when she arrived. I was really glad I'd picked a very popular girl and was able to resell her quickly, without much loss at all.

Of all my hobbies, I've sold my first Pinky:St, my first Blythe, my first Pullip, AND my first DD. The only "first" I've kept is my first BJD.

Kumi's right; unless you somehow manage to *seriously* damage her, or waaaay overpay, all three ought to hold their value.

So, really, I think you'd best pick based off of which one you *like* best. Getting one you actually like the look of is really the best way to see if you truly like the hobby, since that way you will have an easier time telling if it's the hobby rather than the doll if you end up not feeling the magic.

To get a better sense of which one you like best, definitely look at owner photos. Volks' promo shots generally suck (they're usually WAY overlit, not flattering at all), and owners are likely to have tried other wigs and eyes on them to give the same heads a different feel.

Side note though: If you do end up getting Nanoha, I recommend getting another pair of eyes for her. (They don't have to be expensive, or even blue, just something else, 22 or 24mm size.) Her defaults are *crazy* dark, and a real pain to get looking any color other than black in photos. I definitely have enjoyed my own Nanoha much more after I swapped her eyes out!

In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser.

I can totally understand, I really wanted the Saber for many years, but the price was really holding me back. I have now Saber Alter ver 2, really happy with it. It's good to know that I can always sell on for what I paid (or maybe a small loss is fine, I'm not in it for the profit).

What people do not realize when they get in the hobby, though, is that they're going to sink a lot of money in clothes and shoes and other accessories. I didn't know, at least! That's the real danger.

Sell your liver get a Yuki Morikawa, its the best investment and probably defeat the top 1 tiers. if top 1 got their re-release.

Tamaki/Sasara

Yuki

Rina/ Beatrice

Manaka/ Rin

This is I think in YJP form I could put the other MDD and other DD but just the most "sought after" and how high they're price could hold, this are just my observation from YJP.

^ You can add original Saber to that. She actually goes for more than either Yuki or Rina.

Are you ready to rock? ^_^

It might not be a bad idea "stop staring at this doll you will only own it when you hit the lottery , get struck by lightning, and abducted by aliens. In that order."
