mandarake customs

nooo i just checked my Marisa's tracking ): when i checked the tracking number i found it says "held until receipt of payment" which means i have customs >_<

 

has anyone ordered a dollfie before from mandrake? what did they mark the value as?

i have ordered lots of figures before and they we're all marked as gifts and undervalued :/

 

she was coming from the Akihabara store >_<

I've ordered from multiple Mandarake locations and they usually mark mine at 5,000. There has only been one time where they marked as actual value for my DDs.

Their policy on their website is their maximum marking is 20000 jpy unless you specifically request otherwise (for insurance valuation). So for Saber and Rin (whom I just ordered a few weeks ago), they were marked at 20000 (though escaped customs, yay Canada Post!). I think they'll actually mark lower within reason if you ask too.

They've also asked me before if they wanted it to be marked lower so I think they'd do it if you ask them next time.

And socks which were ment to be included, so I emailed them and after two days they have replied to say that they've found her Socks but not her original pantsu, so they will be shipping her socks and a different pair of pantsu to me yay!!!
