DDH-07!

I just got my e-mail from Volks USA, I won the pre-painted 07 that I entered for.

 

My Lottery win streak is now 5/5.

 

I'm not sure if I'm going to keep her a floating head or if I'm going to get a body for her though.

Ditto that - always great to see a random email from Volks then find out, yaaaaaaay closure on this Dollie Head yaaaaaaaaaaay!

question I'm not sure if I've asked before about the size of the eyes of the 07 head

 

is it 22mm or 24mm?

Agreed. I have a DDH-07 and the eye sockets are really small. I have some 22mms in there and I don't think you'd want any larger than that.

well.. I don't have mine yet - but they look to be as narrow as the SQLab "kirie" style head, and 22mm fits just fine, just thinking it wouldn't be able to take anything bigger esp if they are animetic eyes with the white shines, they'd probably be too big and not show up. : )

They're OK. Probably the ideal eye size, actually.

 

24mm (the next size up) would be too big.

I recently acquired a head and the 22mm is a tad to big it could work but the high lights aren't quite there that's why I'm mildly concerned I ordered 22mm a couple weeks ago for my 07 so I hope they look right!!

24mm round type maybe acceptable but you got to test it out yourself, 22mm shouldn't not be a problem unless you getting those long narrow type

Alright then since majority goes for the 22mm then I shall have my 07 with it

Is it just me or does the head look bigger than the other heads? Not all my wigs can fit into her head. I tried for hours last night trying to fit a Rise wig. I used to think Miruya wigs are big but they seem to fit perfectly on ddh07.

:/ Thats not good I was hopping she could fit on Millhiore's wig but I guess I will have the same problem as with Saber :S

It's not bigger wig wise, IMO. At least, wigs I've put on it seem the same. It *is* longer than Rise's head though, from top of head to chin.

not sure if bigger or not, but i normally need a silicon headcap to use miruya wig. 07 don't need it as i find it hard to align it correctly if i use the headcap.

 

seem like everything suit 07 well, the peach-pink wig & the honey brown eyes was a random trial & error using what i have on hand. but it come out so well that i probably let her stay in that for a while.

Then maybe it should work with Rise's wig and I'm doing something wrong. The ponytail/twintail wigs are a bit tighter to fit.

I think a lot of the times the wigs are a problem and not the head. My Rise's wig is pretty loose and can fit on anyone with or without a headcap. Saber Extra's wig won't fit on anyone and Saber Alter's wig can fit on anyone tightly with a headcap. In my theory- Since Extra and Alter is the same sculpt, then it means the wigs are made unintentionally in slightly different sizes.

I still couldn't fit my Rise wig but that's not important. I was just curious how she looks when she has Persona gear. After trying on all other wigs and eyes, I'm sticking with the Yukino wig and green eyes.

errrmagaaaad i just bought a DDH-07 Head! I instantly fell in love with it! YEAH!

Once I saw more pictures of owners and their girls heads with different styles, I started to like the head more She's pretty cute!
