Hello from Michigan

Hi!

 

I found this site through talking with Sir Narwhal on flickr... because I am relentlessly stalking photos of the MDD girl I have coming, Mini Dollfie Dream Noumi Kudryavka.

 

I have owned DD before, Alna and Maki, but sold them to buy my Ami Ayase... and while I don't regret it... I MISS THEM TERRIBLY!!! (Ami is my dream doll though, of the resin persuasion, so I have to regrets in doing what needed to be done to get her).

 

Anyhow, after realizing just how much I missed my girls, I'm delving back in! I've already won, and am just waiting for the MDD Noumi Kudryavka... and I've entered for the two newest Dolpa 25 girls... so we shall see. Airy looks like she could be Noumi's big sister

 

I am very excited to be back in the DD world though, I LOVE you guys who collect them, reading your photostories and looking at the work you guys do is just inspiring.

And congrats on your win for Noumi! Hopefully you will luck out with Aerie - she's a cutie! If I had the extra money lying around I'd totally go for her! I love her face!

 

 

It's a shame you had to sell your Alna! She's one of my favourites I've been looking for her head to pop up somewhere so that I can make her into a very special girl! (I talk about it in the Character Concept forum!)

It's fine though, now that I've found this forum, I can just look at all of the awesome dolls and get inspired.

 

Hopefully I can keep practicing painting DD heads too and get better at it... I've done one, but I'm too new to post pics yet... when I can I'll post a pic of it.

Oh, you are from the Great Lakes?! Most of my childhood was spent there. I must say - I miss Michigan. The air over there is so fresh, and the bottled water there seems to taste better too. Anyways, welcome to the forum. I'm glad to see another member joined up. And, congrats on winning Noumi. She's a cutie, .

Halycon ~ Yup! Lansing Area, but my family has had a cabin up in the TC area for longer than I've been alive... and it is so beautiful up there! I'm not actually *from* Michigan... we've moved around a lot, but I do love this state!
