Mashiro as "Old Style" Muvluv Japanese doll

Out of the current anime season I picked up this quirky little thing called Muvluv Alternative: Total eclipse, and thaught it was hilarious that the lead lady in the series gets called a Japanese doll.

 

I happened to have the old MuvLuv alternative outfit from Volks around, so decided a little shoot with maromalo was in order, as she was the closest I had to Yui Takamura, the leading lady of the series.

 

Minuses are naturally maromalos hair is a tad lighter, and also the uniform is the old style that dates back to Kimiga nozomu eien, hence the "old style" nature.

(I still like this seifuku quite a lot for some weird reason)

 

This was also a bit of a experimental shoot infront of my telly for the logo in the background, so pardon the pause symbol in the corner, and the colors that seem to be all over the place.

As a omake, Feena was in fitting for a yukata, and thaught itd be amusing to borrow her wig for a Cryska / Inia look.

 

I don't get the reference, but I think she looks nice in the uniform.

I've never seen that show but the outfit on Mashiro is way cute! That skirt is about the perfect length too. HA HA! Very cool pics tho, I like her sword.

mmm, it was a bit of a stretch with the reference, but what can you do when you get a silly idea.

In star trek terms it would be probably close to Picard putting on Kirks outfit from the second movie onward.

 

But thaught this was a nice opportunity to pull out the outfit after some time in its bag.

 

Actually was the first time I took out the protective stitches from the skirt flaps so the reverse purple detail shows up (*caugh* Product value -50%),

 

anybody thinking of looking into the series should know that despite the humongous fanservice, its a bit cruel to say the least on the start.

 

Volks has always been rather close with the Age Muvluv property, so have to wonder will this series spawn a new character model. This outfit for instance dates back to 2005.

yup, that is the first US FMA tinbox with ed on that side, and al on the other. Just happened to be the first suitable sized box I grabbed from my shelf for maromalo to sit on.

I get the reference and have seen the show (love it, BTW) and she looks awesome!
