Taidai Posted July 26, 2012 Sup DD people. In my ongoing quest to learn everything the hard way, I just tackled my first faceup. Mixed reactions about it, I LOVE the expression that I ended up with (the eyebrow thing was by accident but it worked out ) I'm pretty disappointed with the line work however. Smug little jerk ain't she? One with the eyes in. So basically I'm asking for some tips on how to clean up these super thick lines (i have a brush as thin as a fine tip pen, so I don't know how they managed to get that thick) and just tweak it in general. I havent added any skin colour or makeup to her yet, but I'd gladly take suggestions for that as well. Be sure to check out my misadventures in the Dollfie Dream world: I have NO idea what I'm doing and my Flickr
ohsomoe Posted July 28, 2012 I'm not sure how to make the lines thinner on an existing faceup, but if you paint with too much pressure the lines would end up thicker so putting a little bit of pressure on the brush should help in making thinner lines.
