Aoi is being inscrutable... These pictures don't really show it, but it was a cloudy, moody day. Though Aoi is the type of girl who'd seem upset or shy in most situations.

For glasses colors, the red does look nice on her. It is not too dark. Although with her light eyes, she could probably wear dark ones too. Her eyes are so bright, they will still stand out well even with black framed glasses. I wonder if blue would look nice on her or maybe metal frames.

Hmm, yeah, metal frames would be cool! Obitsu has some blue and grey versions of the pair Aoi's got on too. I'm going to try and glue Mari's glasses back into useable condition, but this pair will be the back-up.

I have heard horror stories about Mari's glasses. It would be great to get them working again. Then Aoi and Aya can both wear red glasses at the same time.

 

Metal frames sounds nice. They look more professional.

 

Aoi needs sunglasses! Summer is coming (maybe - it has been quite cold lately). If Aya is an actress, she needs sunglasses too.

When I got them in, not only did they fit well and look good, they even came in their own glasses case with a cleaning cloth! It was too cool.

 

I know they had them in several colors too and mine are metal frames and not plastic. $11 sure beats the $40 and up prices I have seen for most DD sized glasses.

My Mari's glasses are cracked, but haven't broken apart yet. I'm hoping super glue will hold them together. My brother builds lots of models and these little Flames of War miniature tanks, so I'll make him do it.

 

Ah, sunglasses. I suppose Aoi would want prescription sunglasses too. Volks' sunglasses seem a bit on the big side, but they look kind of 'rockstar-ish' which would work for Aya!

Oh, nice! I will check this out! The price has held me back from buying Volks' glasses, since they look a bit large in the preview pics. Especially since Aoi is modeling the glasses in the Volks pics.

No problem sir! I have pics of the glasses I got up on the MDD body thread on Figurefm. It was titled "Mai is Daydreaming". Manami in MDD form was wearing them. They fit quite well.

 

When I was over in Japan last year, I saw lots of glasses around and almost all of them were 40-50 bucks. I almost got a pair in the Shinjuku Volks store but passed on them to get some shoes instead. I just couldn't justify paying that for something that my girls wont have on very often.

 

But $11 was much easier to deal with. And now that I know they fit well, I'll buy 2-3 more sets in the future for more of my girls to wear.
