stupid question

Can EB- Mini B wear barbie, Skipper, Stacy or Kelly clothing?

I don't know how to find someone to make custom clothes, like where to post.

I can't say I'm familiar with the size of them, but there may be something in the Off-Topic Dolls section of the forums with regards to them, or someone who could better answer your question.

Yay, I can finally give you a reply (although I do agree that this should have been int the OT Dolls section, but no worries.) I would have given you a fast answer a few days ago, but I though that actual pictures would be much more helpful.

From left to right:

Hankenstein (New-EB N with EB Mini head), EB Beauty D (soft bust), Barbie (2000-ish, newer wide waist & ballerina knees), Kelly (2000-ish), Skipper (1987), Dolly (EB Mini F)

Dolly: "What? I was going to go skinny-dipping!"

Hankenstein is wearing Kelly glasses (earpieces bent a little to stay on his head) and pants made by me (I tried to re-size a pattern and it didn't work so they have been dubbed the ugly pants.)

EB Beauty is in a top made by me and Barbie underwear/swimming suit bottom.

Barbie is wearing Barbie clothes.

Kelly is also wearing her own clothes.

Skipper is wearing a Barbie swimming suit (I no longer have any actual Skipper clothes) and the Velcro in the back is closed tighter than it would be on Barbie to make it fit.

Dolly is wearing a hat knitted by me and I'm pretty sure it is an American Girl (Josefina) handkerchief...

Here is the nude body comparisons too.

From left to right:

EB Beauty D (soft bust), Kelly (2000-ish), Barbie (2000-ish, newer wide waist & ballerina knees), Hankenstein (New-EB N), Dolly (EB Mini F), Skipper (1987)

Dolly: "Hey look, I'm Yuriko!" *imitates what he thinks she looks like when modeling in a very unflattering way*

Hankenstein: "I hope you can comprehend the notion, my neurologically stunted fellow, that Miss Yuriko will inflict multiple points of extreme discomfort on your person before she obliges to relinquish your resource-embezzling carcass, presented in a rather amusing manner on top of a serving vessel made of precious metals, back into your possession if you fail to cease with this tomfoolery."

EB Beauty is wearing the swimsuit that Barbie was in the first pic (I was surprised that it fit over her bust and even the ballet shoes fit!)

Kelly is still in her own clothes, but I did try to put her dress on Dolly, just to see and he nearly smacked me, but it wouldn't even go past his knees.

Barbie is wearing the swimming suit that Skipper had on and a skirt I made to fit the EB Mini. I think the only reason it worked was because the elastic just barely fit over her hips. Below is a pic of what the skirt looks like on the EB Mini.

Hankenstein again is in the same clothes. I put a loose fitting Ken shirt on him (because I thought he was the same size) and it was twice as big as it needed to be and looked horrid because of his smaller than average head. I didn't even want to take a picture of it...

Dolly is in his knit hat and a Barbie dress, if his arms weren't bent it would have fallen straight off and does not fit well by any stretch of imagination.

Skipper is in another Barbie outfit that normally is very tight, but on Skipper is loose and ill-fitted.

So my opinion overall is that Barbie clothes are a bad choice unless you want to do tedious alterations, but has the potential to be easier than making them from scratch (been there, done that, didn't like it.) Kelly clothes will not work, period. I spent a lot of time as a kid playing with my Barbies and Skipper, often having her wear Barbie clothes, and even at the time I thought that it worked ok, but it was always fussy. I think that Skipper clothes should work well enough for the EB Mini, but I'm not sure how much they have changed her body since '87, and I'm pretty sure it won't be a perfect fit. I think it is really worth a shot to check it out because it is easily available through most toy stores or even through Ebay and would get you a lot more for your money than commissioning outfits unless there is something super fancy and complex that would need to be specially designed.

I hope this helps, and I'm really glad to see more EB Minis because they are so cute! I hope you don't mind my silly dialog...
