Hi there. I'm Eldritch Humanoid, but you guys can call me Elle (not my real name, but it's shorter than Eldritch and more dignified that EH).

Anyway, I've been lurking for awhile, but I finally decided to make an account and post. I'm planning on getting a Mini Dollfie Dream, eventually. I'm probably going to end up with two so I can experiment on one of them. Just I'm a little nervous about purchasing one. I don't know why, but it feels like a much bigger investment than my last vinyl doll.

I live in Iowa in a small town, so there isn't really much to do. I've taken up many hobbies. Working with dolls is just the most prominent (I don't have my own TV at the moment, which puts a damper on playing video games when other people are sleeping or I should be sleeping).

I'm also very curious, so I might ask a lot of questions or I might end up wrecking an expensive doll to see how it works (I've only done it once, to be fair, and she was only $90, so she wasn't that expensive to replace).

Welcome aboard! Glad to see you decided to start an account and begin asking questions on the MDD girls. They aren't cheap by any means but they're super adorable and such fun to play with.

Feel free to ask all the questions you want, there's tons of knowledgeable people here to help you out.

I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.

Thanks, Billy! I know they're pretty expensive. I set aside some money every pay period for doll-related stuff, since I love working with them. The Dollfie Dream line in general have a very cartoony feel to them that I adore!

Cool deal, I hope you can save up and get yours soon! And the cartoon/anime look they have is a big draw for most people who own them. I know I loved the idea of owning what is basically a HUGE action figure of a beautiful anime styled girl!
