SisterKyoya Posted August 7, 2012 I thought I'd point out for those who might be interested that an MDD should fit in American Girl's Volkswagen Super Beetle car. I personally do not own this but it is so cute that I had to share it! I have owned AGs for about the last 10 years and the height of an MDD is 3/4 to 1 inch shorter than the AG. I was really surprised recently when it occurred to me that most people on the forums may not realize that AG furniture and accessories fit the MDDs and the DD can use other thing like the foods. There are also other "18 inch doll" brands out there that have things within the proper scale. Just don't expect that the clothes will fit MDDs or even DDs because AGs are the shape of a stumpy log. ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram
finnleo Posted August 7, 2012 Actually a bit of a odd choise for model year, since Id imagine the original 60's T1 style (aka. Herbie, love bug) would be more popular, with the full chrome bumpers. Too bad the windshield is a bit too comical. Extra points for the washing set though.
Galvatim Posted August 7, 2012 Too bad it's not a yellow VW Bug... Mitsuki and I saw a jeep around that size at Target. Also a kitchen set, but it was too short for DDII girls.
RaveOfNightmares Posted August 7, 2012 Too bad it''s probably not big enough for a DD to sit in, because that would be awesome. 21 DD girls: Mio, Marina, Yui, Yoko, Nia, Lily, Arisu, Akina, Momo, Arisa, Yukina, Ayaka, Niimi, Eri, Millefeuille, Ekisu, Chitose, Miyabi, KOS-MOS v.4, Hatsune Miku and God Eater Alisa. 2B in a hopeful future. Anna-neko Posted August 12, 2012 we totally tested out a car in AG store yesterday with Leitan and mine MDDs It was a lil troublesome .. Mari's legs would either stretch out a lil bit too far into the car, so she couldn't quite... reach the seat (sorta leaned on the back and floated 'bout an inch above the actual seat) Or alternatively, we just couldn't bend her knees or leg at thigh far enough for a good sitting position in that thing Then again, the store was super packed with bazillion lil girls and their dolls (this weekend is also tax-free shopping in our state, so extra shoppers everywhere!), so we tried to do the car thing real fast... Maybe with proper time the MDD really can sit in it perfectly _______ Among other super-neat things was a bath set!. A whole tub with a curtain around it, a lil shower and these pink plastic "bath bubbles" things that go in... Alas, if only had a whole free room to put all this stuff into The most perfect piece of furniture (aside from all the different styled beds) is the Vanity When Mari stood next to the vanity, her arms rested neatly on the top and the face was reflecting in the mirror... The bottles were a bit awkward, but the rest was seriously made for us MDD people
