DD price guide

Go, go newb!

I'm wondering if there is a list [blog, site, guide] that has what DDs should be in the second-market.

I know that prices differ and increase depending on auction but an estimate would be nice to go by.

 

I'm thinking about getting one of the three limiteds I fancy but... Seeing I'm still newby-newb I realised that beyond the basics I have no idea if this or that is a good price or it is one of those inflated price-type auctions.

It might be easier to list the ones that you are interested in, several forum members are knowledgeable in their current prices.

But such a list would be interesting to see ^^ ...

I'm wondering the second-market price range for these girls, Mikuru Asahina, Yoko and Akira.

if your looking at getting fullsets then you'd be looking at

 

$800 for Akira

$700 for Mikuru

$1000 - $1200 for Yoko depending on condition

Well, they were quite expensive new since they did come with a lot of extra pieces (armor pieces plus sword). That probably doesn't help with the secondhand market.

 

But if anything, the most surprising one for me is Yuki Morikawa. Besides Tamaki, which was introduced well before I had any interest in DDs, Yuki is the one I feel that I just missed out on. And the going rate is a bit too much for me (sensibility wise). Who knows, if I find one NIB or in great condition the next time I'm in Japan, I may just cave. Haha.

(A title she still holds) I was able to win through Volks USA which gave me the best price with the currency rate and when all was said and done (shipping, taxes) I ended up paying $1200 for her.

I guess I'll just chalk up the original Saber to supply/demand and overall rarity.

The original list prices for saber and Saber Lily were identical in Both Yen and dollars. I think Lilly's after market price did rise a bit faster after release though. If you wanted to adjust for inflation I suppose the original could be viewed as more expensive.

Here is Mandarake's Price List for Buying DDs.

 

The given prices are not what they sell for on the aftermarket, but they are what Mandarake will pay you for your DDs. Also, not every DD is on the list. At least you can get an idea of the value of these dolls relative to one another from a quick glance.

Probably Sakuno is the least common. Natsuki v2 just came out fairly recently and you can see her all over Yahoo Japan.

Doese anyone know the market price of mariko sensei (head) ??? ^/////^
