Haha. Sprout is cute. I even think Ash has a crush since he keeps reading her story over and over. And the girls would all like to give her hugs. Although, I don't know how well Sprout is going to take that.

Sprout is just so adorable. I think this is one of the best photostory of yours that I've read. You make Sprout come alive and think of her as this real and very sweet little girl. I almost died from cuteness overload, especially when she found out when her Papa was peeking in on her.

 

 

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it so much. That's very flattering to hear about her seeming like a real girl. The main thing I liked was that even tho she was mad at me, she FINALLY called me Papa! Took forever but hearing her say that was so very nice.

That's funnt that Ash has a crush on Sprout! I'm not sure what she would say if she knew that... I best not let her know about that just yet. As for hugs, she allows them form certain sisters like Rei, Sango, Yoko and Elisabeth but some of her other sisters she isn't as open with for obvious reasons. So hugs from strangers may not go over too well.

I was really wondering if you had seen this and what you thought of it. Thank you for finally replying to it.

 

It makes me happy that you enjoyed this one since it was kind of important to me since she was finally showing off her really girly side and then calling me Papa for the first time. So having your approval is a great thing to me.

 

And yes, I've never claimed to be a ninja of any sort so my stealth tecniques are WAY low on the scale.

Just trying to figure out some minor story to go with it because I'm horrible at taking pictures when it doesn't seem like there is a specific point to it.

I always have ideas like this buzzing through my head, so if I ever figure out what I want I'll let you know. You just have SO many wonderful pictures! The DD compilation style photo book made me think of Kyoya (from Ouran High School Host Club) who shamelessly sells photo sets and themed photo books to earn part of the club's money.

 

I have an AG scrapbook that the pics that come with it mean nothing to me, but it would be totally awesome to make it into an album for the DD of their friends. The darn thing looks really easy to make as well, although I might have to search to see if locating 1/3 scale retro photo corners is possable. It reminds me of my grandmother's albums that she made but fell apart many years ago. If you want to see what album I'm talking about, follow this link, click on the "view larger" under the doll pic, and pages 7-9 show closeups of the album and the pics that came with it. I was happy when I got it to find out that you have to put the pics in the album yourself so now I have an empty album.

 

Even as a kid I loved projects like these and simply adored miniatures so now with the DD I get to make "photo story filler" but the scale isn't impossibly small. Here is an example of what I'm talking about:

 

 

Now all I have to do is finish the artwork (that is 75% done) and print it out. I have a growing list of product types that use this type of container, and there are many other similar cardboard type packages that I want to make DD scale. Cereal boxes, crackers, cookies... I could go on and on. Tama keeps rooting for cake mixes so he can use his new apron! Since he got to watch me doing my niece's bday cake he's been wanting to see if he can do cakes too. Maybe if I'm lucky he will feel like doing my holiday baking for me...

OMG!!! Why did I not see this thread earlier?!?!?!?!? I had to clamp my jaw shut while reading this story, because I was afraid of squeeing so loud the neighbors would hear me, and when she finally called you papa, my eyes started watering a tiny bit.

 

Sprout totally needs an official fan club with shirts and buttons and everything! I know Yuriko would be one of the first to buy a sprout poster. She would also be great for advertising, just by being there. Immediately after reading this, Yuriko tells me (in a voice highly reminiscent of Veruca Salt, from the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie) "Daddy, I need a sheep. And a wand. And wings. And monsters."

"All officially Sprout branded, I assume."

"Of course, and her picture would have to be on the tag of each one."

 

And this is why I usually make sure to preview each thread on here before allowing her to read it. And I'm not even going to ask why she needs more than one copy of any photobooks Sprout might appear in, let alone 10 copies... Probably better off not knowing. I just fear the day Sprout and Tamayuki ever get together in the same room. That much cuteness in one place would probably do something nasty to the laws of physics.

Do you have ANY idea how huge her head would get if Sprout had a fan club?? She'd NEVER let me or any of her sisters hear the end of it! Thank you! I think she has a good time here even if she tells me differently. And you don't know how happy it makes me to hear you approve of her wardrobe! She is pretty finicky and picky when it comes to clothes seeing as how all my other girls are into bright colors. Finding white outfits or ones with paler colors isn't easy. But she seems to have found ways to piece things together that look really nice on her. And she's been branching out a little bit as far as colors she'll wear. That bright pink maid uniform was the "loudest" thing she's worn and while she whined about it, she still wore it for almost a week.

 

I know my Billy-Fu stinks so I guess a training camp in the mountains for a week might be in order.

Thank you! I think she does a great job as a magical girl too. As for having more of them..... I dunno if my wallet or body can handle that! Getting them all outfits and such would be expensive and having too much blood loss due to the extreme amounts of cute coming from them may very well kill me! But I guess that's not such a bad way to die......

Photo stories are a nice way for owners of DD's to express their girls personalities as well as artistic flow. And it also lets us get better with our photograpy skills. It takes time to set up backgrounds and props and then keep changing poses all the time but the end product is really worth the time and labor involved... at least to me it is.

 

I do believe I am hooked now!! Good show sir! You're Sprout is adorable in every aspect!
