Misbehavin' Tamayuki

 

On a quiet summer afternoon as Mommy was busying herself around the house she found Tamayuki quietly muttering to himself.

Tamayuki: "Nope, this isn't the right one... Nope, this isn't the right one either... How about this one? Nope..."

Mommy: "What are you up to Tama-chan, did you lose a card?"

Tamayuki: "Hi Mommy. No, I was just trying to make up a card game and a magic trick. It's harder than it looks."

Mommy: "I remember in high school when I had to design a board game for an English assignment. At first it seemed really easy but I don't think I did very well on it. If you get stuck Daddy is good at games so you could ask him for help. I don't suggest that you play one with him that depends on dice because he will almost always win..."

Tamayuki: "Ok Mommy, I will."

 

 

A little while later Mommy came back through the living room and found Tamayuki giggling to himself.

Mommy: "Did you get your card trick to work Tama-chan?"

She watches her little boy as he flinches at her unexpected voice.

Tamayuki: "Um... no not yet. I can't show you now because it would wreck the surprise, so... you can get back to what you were doing Mommy."

Tama was acting suspicious and obviously hiding something.

Mommy: "Tamayuki, what are you up to?"

 

 

Tamayuki: "Nothin' Mommy."

Autumn stumbles in muttering confusedly to herself, narrowly missing crashing into the wall.

 

 

Tamayuki: "Just playin' with my cards."

The boy watched as his mommy fell over onto the floor as she was overwhelmed by his cuteness.

Autumn: "I know I left them somewhere..."

 

 

Tamayuki: "Mommy? Why is your nose bleeding? I thought you liked boys to wear things like this."

Her only response was incoherent gibberish broken up by fangirl squeaks and mushy giggles.

Autumn: "I only put them down for a moment..."

 

 

*CRASH* Autumn's klutzyness finally caught up with her as she tripped on the table leg.

Tamayuki: "Oops..."

 

 

Autumn: "Ow... I was sure I left my glasses around here."

Quiet as a mouse Tama-chan puts his sister's glasses back where she had left them.

Tamayuki: "Um, Autumn? They are on the table... do you need me to hand them to you?"

 

 

Autumn: "Thank you Tama, I can't see very well without them at all."

Tamayuki: "Uh... do you want to play a card game with me? I can even let you win..."

Even though Tamayuki is a sweetheart, it doesn't mean that he can't do anything wrong. Autumn has generally been pretty happy to have some new siblings, but she's had her fair share of growing pains in the process. Rainie was wearing her Easter dress for a few months, Naiomi took her pajamas and didn't want to give them back, I'm pretty sure that Yuriko has tried to sneak away with her clothes as well... so she has been a bit defensive recently. Tama-chan should have at least said he was sorry.

Poor, Autumn... Sometimes I really wonder about just how innocent Tamayuki really is. I think he's been spending way too much time with Dollie. He does look extra cute in the glasses, though, especially with them being just a bit oversized.

The following is what the Boys Club has to say:

 

Kaylus: Tamayuki you look so cute with glasses on, however, I don't think that was very nice of you to let poor Autumn walk around without her glasses on. You should always treat women, especially your sisters, courteously (otherwise, you won't get anywhere with some of them)

 

Yuu: Yeah Dude, I felt bad for Autumn. I know you just wanted to try her glasses on seeing as how you look pretty cute with them on, but next time, ask her first okay. And, make sure she's sitting down. Peace kid!

 

Ash: Please. Tamayuki, I really liked your glasses but I believe you should refrain from wearing them as they seem to have a detrimental effect on the health of your Mother. I suggest that you try some form of gradual desensitization before you try the 'megane look' again. Or make sure she takes lots of Iron in her diet.

Hi guys! I wasn't trying to be mean to Autumn, I promise. I didn't know that she needed her glasses so badly because Mommy walks around without hers sometimes in the middle of the night. I'm glad that you liked the pictures, and... for saying I looked cute. *Blushes* I did tell Autumn what I did and that I was sorry. I didn't know she would get hurt. She said that it hurt her feelings to get picked on on top of trying to get used to so many new siblings so fast. She doesn't mind having a little brother to do fun things with, but not if he plays mean tricks. I gave her a really big hug to make sure she knew I wasn't trying to be a meanie.

 

 

She said if I really wanted to have some glasses of my own we could ask Mommy for some pipe cleaners to make them out of. Autumn is pretty neat like that, she likes to make things sometimes when she isn't spending time with Ginny, Hermione, and Wiffel. She said that we need to start thinking about our Halloween costumes and if we make them out of felt we won't need much help from Mommy. I think it sounds like a lot of fun.

 

Kaylus- Where would I want to go with my sisters? Oh, do you mean things like more field trips? Not being able to go places to see neat stuff wouldn't be very fun especially if Yuriko goes because she likes to stop at sweet shops.

 

Yuuto- Can you see very well without your glasses? Lots and lots of people in my family wear glasses and my grandma looses hers a lot. Mommy said that some people wear glasses to look cute, not because they need them, so I thought it would be ok if I tried Autumn's on... but I guess not.

 

Ash- I think Mommy would like eating lots more iron because tempeh has lots of it I'm pretty sure. I would show you some but I think her bento pics are on Daddy's computer because I can't find them. I don't think that the graduated detestination thing would work with her... Daddy regularly shows her drawings of people in glasses and she reacts the same way every single time. I had to ask Yuriko what you meant because even the dictionary didn't know.

 

Hi Nyanko Sensei! *Excitedly waves at the screen* I thought it was really funny too, until I got into trouble. I just wanted to make Mommy happy and I think it kinda worked because she still giggles about it.

Kaylus- Shouldn't you be nice to all women, regardless if you have plans of getting anywhere with them? I think your sensei needs to have a talk with you... and no taking your shirt off, that's not playing fair!

Dear Sister Kyoya,

 

We're glad that Tamayuki apologized. We knew he didn't mean anything bad. By the way, we all think he looks adorable with his face up glasses or no. I spoke with Kaylus and he said he's always nice to the ladies. He said he couldn't promise the 'no taking your shirt off' but he said he'll try. I did hear him mumbling about something though - all I heard was glasses - so I don't know. He laughed when he read about Tamayuki's comment on going somewhere with the girls and asked me if he was ever that literal, uh, maybe? Yuu needs corrective lenses but he prefers contacts. He just wore the glasses because he needed new prescription contacts and they weren't in yet. As for Ash, he says he is happy you get lots of iron in your diet especially if you tend to suffer nosebleeds like his older brothers. He says that gradual desensitization also seems not to work on them considering the amount of time they've put in on the practice. *I think I just about died from that comment*. They all said Hi to everyone.

No worries though, Tama-chan knows that DD boys are rare and it always makes him happy when people think he's cute. In fact he often goes out of his way to look cute, but acts innocent like it was unintentional.
