Error-Chan Posted August 12, 2012 I have been playing with my MDD last night and I realized that one of her ankle screw is sticking out slightly. I have used a light heat the more the ankle out slightly to get at the screw and now I have tried to tighten it but it keeps terning and not going in or out. Whats happened here? What can I do for this problem?if you need a photo I can get it up later.
Jezrah Posted August 12, 2012 Ah mine did that and the reason the screw just kept turning was that the tube it was in had snapped off. I had to disassemble the entire thing and repair the tube with plastic epoxy Good luck with yours, I hope it isn't broken.
SisterKyoya Posted August 12, 2012 Um... I did this too a few months ago when I was putting kips in and broke both of Tamayuki's ankles. Poor guy has strong knees now but he still can't stand up on his own because his feet just flop around, not to mention that his hips are loose. I don't regret making him be a MDD, but I want to get him an MDDIII body so he can pose like he used to. I was afraid of doing anything and making them worse, like melting the plastic with the wrong glue. I would be so happy to be able to fix him. ~ Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram
Jezrah Posted August 12, 2012 I used the same epoxy as in this thread for spine repair viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2732 It worked enough for her to be able to stand unassisted again, but she is still a bit finicky.

Jezrah Posted August 13, 2012 That's good, I'm glad it wasn't too big of an issue . MDDs can be notorious for breaking
