Same here, but Akira is the only one that gets to take a nap with dad cause Extra's and Lily's wig get way too messy, not to mention they may get damaged fairly easy.

 

I also tell them how pretty they are and say and good night from time to time

Yes, this 47 year old dude hugs his dolls. I cradle them carefully, I brush their hair, I pose and re-pose, refix their hair and hug them some more...I think a better question is, if you don't, why ever not?

No hugging here - I have plush things for that. Neither of my girls are very "huggy" anyway.

Yes I do hug her bc she is just getting cuter and cuter and I can't stop staring at her. I have really been spoiling her lately that I had to give my other dolls some attention just to be fair.

After wash Alisa's hair with fabric softener, I love to sniffing her hair which... she doesn't seem like it

Strangely, I find my DDs and my resin dolls equally cuddly. The DDs are softer to cuddle, but the resin dolls are more floppy and slouchy.

Similiar for me, while I don't hug and cuddle my dolls (very often), I do like to sit with them either in my lap or with me while I do other things like surf the web or watch TV. Haha, I am even attending online classes for my MSW, and sometimes she sits next to me in class off camera （＾＿＾）

Funnily enough, I was actually wondering about this very topic ie. how "huggable" are DDs compared to resin dolls of the same size (MSD to SD). I'm not so much a doll "hugger" but I do love the way a resin SD size doll 55 to 62cm feel to safely cradle on one arm and carry around and fuss with (ie. play with hands, toes, adjust clothing & gently brush away wig fly-aways from face like a fussy parent)...especially when compared to bigger, heavier dolls (especially big 70cm+ resin boys). Hence, I am wondering whether there will be much of a difference there when looking at carrying DDS, DD & DDdy girls by comparison.

I always give my girls hugs and kisses on their foreheads! I sometimes talk to them, usually it's goodnight or morning and when I come back from going out I say "honeyyyyyy I'm home!" Haha I rarely watch tv but when I do I usually have my girls with me I don't do it much anymore but I do take my girls to sleep in bed with me and I love brushing their hair!!!

I hug my crew ^-^ I find they nestle nicely in the crook of my arm and I can put my head on their head/hair ♡

 

I get them to sit nearby when I'm sewing for them, sit them next to me when I watch TV, and I play with their hair, styling or just brushing it.

 

I talk to them, say hello or good bye, tell them to behave themselves, kiss their for heads, Pat them on the head ^-^

 

Daddy also talks to them ^///^ he calls the girls his princesses and won't let boys near them, or let them wear the wrong thing when we go out :3

When my husband has to go out of town for work for a few days I will sometimes let one of my girls spend the night with me in bed. No I don't cuddle her, but it is nice to look over and see a cute face on the pillow next to me.

I don't cuddle or hug the dolls. Well, maybe it can be called a hug when I'm trying to wrestle them into clothes! I have several posed around the house, and I'll give them a pat on the head as I pass. No matter my mood or preoccupation, just seeing them brings a smile to my face. Because of the PVC nature of DDs, I feel more at ease carrying them around when necessary. My resins require a bit more care because of their unpredictable "floppy" nature that could launch them into a flying face-plant on the tile flooring. My wife snagged our new Yo-SD Anne, and has taken full possession of her. She will carry Anne around and cuddle her. My wife may fuss with a DD I've freshly changed, but I haven't caught her cuddling one yet. I guess I haven't yet dressed a DD in an outfit that will break down our resistance enough to engage in a bout of cuddling. Maybe if I dressed them in PJs?

I don't hug or cuddle my Dollfie Dreams, but I really like to have them sit on my working desk or next to me when watching a movie and so now and then pat their heads ^^

I do like having my resin bjd dolls sitting on my lap. Maybe it is the weighty feeling they have? I am too afraid I might snap something in my DD's :0

I don't hug my dollfies; I've got a giant Totoro for that.

But I have Resin BJDs which I cuddle with sometimes, especially when I feel sad...

So maybe I'd hug a DD as well? Or maybe not because I prefer hugging my boys and there's no male DD yet xD

I never hugged my only DD before, but sometimes I hugged my larger BJD boys and also my dear Yamato Super Sonico...

I've snuggled Sasara a couple times when she wears the fluffy lion jammies. It just makes her so soft and adorable! I often spend time with them (Miku loves playing games with me) and I do sometimes hug them because I just can't help how cute they are!

I love to have Miku next to me whenever I study or do coursework. Sometimes I'll lean her up against my side when she sits by me.

 

I like to hold her in my arms or set her on my lap when I watch anime and relax. I've been coping with a lot of stress and anxiety right now as a senior in college, and just having her around as a visual cue to relax really helps me manage my anxiety.

 

Sometimes I'll pat her on the head, pinch her toes, or kiss her on the forehead (over her fringe). Also, I'll have her ride shotgun in my car when I travel to and from home! It's silly, but she makes me smile. She was a partial gift from my boyfriend of 4+ years, and we don't get to see each other but a few times a month, so I appreciate having her around as a reminder of his compassion and love.

I don't hug or cuddle them. I'm one of the odd ones who keeps them in dust free displays and doesn't handle them much ^^;;

I think I would except I have a kitty, and I'm terrible at keeping up with vacuuming the place, so my Lynn stays on a dusty shelf (with friends, though) while the fur-ball does the cuddling...hey, she purrs, too. The cat does, not...
