A Wig like Saber's?

The wig on my Saber extra already has loose hair bits sticking out that make me uneasy. I wonder if someone sells a similar wig in the saber hair style?

 

If not, I don't mind looking for cute alternate hair styles for her...

There is a seller nynj55 or something close to that on YJA who sells homemade versions of Saber's wig that aren't too bad. With deputy fees and all that they end up being quite pricey though. But I figured I'd at least let you know they exist.

ugh... low on funds as is... but good to know...

Wish Volks would consider doing that at least...

interesting post, my extra & alter also starting to have some loose hairs....is good if can find similar type of wig.

saber does have a pretty wig ^_^

There are some on Yahoo sometimes but they don't look quite right in my opinion.

thanks...which is why saber owners will like to have a replacement wig like the original.

Saber can look stunning in different other wigs too, so the original one can safely be stored in a drawer...

this is one of the nicest saber alter you get to see ard.

i got to agree saber look nice in lot of different wigs.

personally, i did get long hair wig similar that is same color of saber alter original wig for spare.

*sigh* I wish volks didn't make such fragile wigs, little loose hairs keep sticking up maybe more and more on mine yet I barely touch it or move it that much 0_0

 

I think I might just have her wear this long ponytail wig (on center) I originally used for Holly since it's easier to manage...

Knowing how spacial dynamics work on anime girl's hair, perhaps that IS what Saber's hair looks like when she lets it down. I really like the hair in the pic though, it suits her rather well and still keeps her regalness.

 

I've slowly come to realize unless any DD is merely kept to be a statue on display, they will eventually need a replacement wig. I've thought a lot about this recently because I don't really know how long Volks will ultimately keep the wig I got from them for Tamayuki. It is such a defining aspect of who he is to me, both the style and color, that going through the process to decide on a close enough second hasn't been easy. I don't need to decide right away yet I have been surprised over my conclusions. Looking over the pictures of the last 6+ months I realized that even though his wig is silver gray, 90% of the time he looks blond because of either indoor lighting, or most especially sunlight. This surely gives me a different but interesting option when/if Tama's wig needs to be replaced.

 

I'm not sure if those with character or limited girls are less inclined to look at options that may not be "official" versions, but I think it is really neat even the little differences like this.

@_@ seriously they should have made these wigs easier to manage especially the ones that are fixed to one hair style.

I wish they would release her wig or something like it somewhere. I am afraid to put my Saber Extra's wig on her because I have heard it is easy to ruin. She is my first limited doll so I am am trying to be very careful with her XD someone has posted one similar to her default here so I might have to check that one out.

I hope I can learn to take care of one. I have one coming in for my Alna. :/

The problem with Saber's wig is it just gets kinda frizzy, and you really can't do much about it...

She looks so cute! I like the less pretentious looking Sabers, and it's really nice seeing her with short hair (that isn't in a bun).
