Juu-Yuki Faceup Corner 13: Mai Shiranui

Hello,

 

Two commissions done in less than a week, I am on a roll! Let me introduce you to the lovely repainted Mai. I owe the owner an apology for taking so long. Mai was suppose to be done a month ago but for some reason I had a lot of trouble with this girl. I had all kinds of problems with her, from blushing, to painting, to glossing, you name it, I messed up on. I have restarted on this head about 5-6 times. The owner asked for brown liner and it turned into a very dark brown -sigh- what is wrong with me with this head ;o;

 

But finally, I finished her on the 6th try, with the exception of the liner colour, she is perfect T^T. I am sorry, I’ll give you a discount on your next commission or something. The eyes she have in are from Twin-Snow. I didn’t like them at first, but they are starting to grow on me. The wig is actually DD Marisa’s wig from Touhou.

 

Repaint included:

- Head cleaning and faceup removal

- Custom design and painting

- 5 coats of sealant

- Pink Blushing

- Blush Lines

- Glossed lips

I never liked Mai, but I never realised she could look so beautiful. It's amazing what a new face up can do: I really like your art style. I can't wait to see the results from your other commissions.

Wow who would have guessed that Mai could be this beautiful and confident looking.

 

I'm with the others on not really liking Mai's original face-up. But what you have done for her has given her so much more style, beauty, and attitude.

OMGGG she is beautiful!!!! . I love love love how she turned out!! The eyelashes are beautiful and I love her lips. Those eyes are starting to look really nice in her too. I usually don't like that cat-eye look but it's starting to grow on me and now I may want a pair LOL.
