Nipple Reduction?

Maybe I'm asking one of those "OMG WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!" questions... but... has anyone ever removed nipples from the DDdy body? Alna's are just too much, lol! ... But if anyone has tried this, I'd love to know what tools they used.

I'm not sure you can just sand them off or anything due to them being part of the mold. The inside of the torso is hollow and I can't recall if the nips can be seen from the inside or not. If you can see them from inside, that would mean the vinyl in that area is thin and sanding them off would actually make holes in her breasts. *That* wouldn't be good at all...

 

I'm not too sure if you could use something like Sculpy on her chest or not to build up the area around the nips and then sand it all smooth. I am just not familiar enuff with Sculpy to tell you that's possible.

 

Hopefully James will chime in as I know he used to be a modeler.

 

I'm guessing you want a smooth look like Yoko has for Alna? Are they peeking thru shirts too much for your tastes? Or do you not want her to look cold all the time?

Yes! to the smoother look... and, lol, with her size boobs, it's more like a boob job nipple than a cold air nipple XD... yeah, I like putting her in t-shirts... but she shares them with my less busty girls... and they don't appreciate the torpedo points she leaves behind XD ... shirts with "ghost nipples" oh my...

This is going to be a weird question, but do you have a bra on Alna as well? It's much easier than sanding off her nipples and won't have them poking out on t-shirts, dresses, you name it and there's quite a few pretty bras out there for pretty cheap that would look nice on her and hide her nipples well.

Actually, a bra is a good idea! I know the Volks striped one works very well to hide the nipples on Manami and Mai. The only downside of the Volks bras are that they seem to be a bit "padded" and make clothing even tighter on the DDdy chest. At least that's happened with me.... not sure if others have seen this "padded" effect or not. The L-bust set I have almost makes my Miyuki look like a DDdy under certain shirts/dresses!

 

But there are lots of nice bras out there that will hide the nips well. Check Alices Collections, Volks and Cool Cats for some nice choices.

They're really only such an issue on the DDdy. They're not nearly as prominent on the normal DDII busts, and don't show through any decent thickness material, especially if it's lined. The exception might be the normal L bust, we only have a shapely, which has its own nipple problems. (They're bizarrely high on the boob, I guess they wanted her to be able to have epic underboob or something, but it restricts the necklines of tops.)

I may give a nipple reduction a go... just because my girl wears thin shirts a lot, so a bra would still show up a lot (although I still have to get her a set... they're so cute!)

 

I will let folks know how it goes when I work up the nerve to actually do it.

Well... I did it... now, I didn't shave off the whole areola... I felt it might get too thin under that, but I did shave off, going very slowly with an Exacto, the little hard nipple... so she still has a nipply look... but not frozen nipples... and not nipples that are poking holes in my shirt material, lol!

 

I would start at the base of the nipple and run the blade up and away from me, this way I couldn't accidentally gouge downward into her body too far... and any time the blade was pointed toward another part of her body or face, I put some foam core between the blade and those bits... I didn't want to take any chances.

 

All in all, it was pretty easy to do.

 

I took a super, super, super fine grit sand paper to it afterwards to smooth it out totally and it looks fine.

hmm.. since it's soft vinyl, tiny bits should be easily sliced of with a sharp razor. I suggest experimenting with a really hard eraser or something, and at the end, you should be able to use some really fine wet sanding sandpaper to touch things up for a smooth finish.

That's great that it worked out. I am glad she didn't end up with holes. I can't wait to see her new "much less cold" look.

I am glad the surgery was a success! But as others have said, I would love to see pictures so I can tell what kind of difference it made.

I will try to get a decent picture in the next day or two... pretty much... it just made them less intense... the point is more subtle (enough so to not leave little nubbin grooves in the thinner shirts I put on her)

Very cool. Please take your time, don't rush on our account. I'm just glad everything worked out well you both. I normally don't have issues with seeing their nips thru shirts but sometimes you just want it to have a smooth look there... I totally understand you wanting to do it.

Me either, actually, especially when she's in her default, or an outfit made for the DDdy body... but the nipples were literally pulling apart the graphic on the shirt (and I have a few of this style shirt and plan on making more)... it's kind of amusing in a terrible sort of way... I can take a picture of that too. XD
