[TUTORIAL] How to Cut and Style Wigs

 

Hello everyone~

I took some time to fix up Lily's wig today. I thought it would be helpful to some DD owners, so I made a tutorial on the process of customizing a wig.

 

The tutorial will teach you how to cut and style a non heat proof synthetic wig. I also give tips on how you can style a heat proof wig.

That's a really nice guide, but I don't think I could ever trust myself with a pair of scissors and a wig. I'd probably just end up creating something classified as a WMD or something. >_>;

Very nice tutorial The wig definitely looks better on Lily now that it has been straightened & trimmed Well it still looked good before you started, but the new style as you said works better for her character

I trimmed the bangs on one of my Volks wigs a few days ago and I wish I'd taken a photo of it. It was so funny because Annalise was wearing a tin-foil bib to catch the stray hairs and it was easy cleanup since I just crumpled the foil and threw it away!

Thank you for the great tutorial juu-yuki! I used your layering technique to trim the long fringe of the rock-style shaggy Volks wig I was going to sell, and it worked wonderfully! Now I love the wig
