Mahoro Posted September 1, 2012 This was Haruka's first real outing with me, I wanted to see how well she'd travel before bringing her to Toronto this month. Photo shoot was at the Alberta Legislature on Thursday, where our 3 billion dollar deficit government spent 40 thousand dollars to put up coloured LEDs for 2 weeks for the 100th anniversary of the building. Well, what really would be sad is that after spending such money on decorating the thing, that folks wouldnt take advantage of the opportunity of it. I tilt the flash slightly up, not directly at 90 degrees up, but I experimented with pointing around 80-70 degrees instead just to get a bit of extra fill light. (I use a Nikon SB-400, but you can do the same with the equivalent Canon flash model I'm pretty sure if thats what you're using) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

baldylox Posted September 2, 2012 Even if the lights were wasting your tax money, you took advantage of it! The pics worked out really nicely I think. Haruka looks very pretty out there and all the different colors in the background look very dreamlike since they aren't in focus. Cool idea to take her out there for some pics!
