Starwaia Posted September 2, 2012 Hi everyone, I've been looking at Dollfie Dreams and information on those beautiful dolls, and I've decided to start saving for some sort of Dollfie Dream... sister, I think? The problem is that the other doll forums don't have much information, but hopefully I'll find some here! I kind of want to make one into a mad scientist character, but I'm not sure how that will work out. Currently watching BNHA, 1-2 episodes behind on the anime rn and absolutely obsessed! (being in a fandom late has made dodging spoilers an issue tho ) More into Nendoroids and my resin BJDs rn- including some BNHA character shells hehehe - my Smartdolls are boxed up at the moment but I'm still happy to talk dolls and doll plans! Volks is sold out of bodies at the moment and isn't sure what the time frame is for getting new ones in. I asked and they told me to check back in October. Poofiemus Posted September 4, 2012 Oh-ho! My very mad science-y Agatha is definitely glad to hear of more kindred spirits incoming--which is probably bad news for the rest of us. I'm sure Galvatim's Mari and Kymaera's VMF50 Rinrin will embrace the new comer too, heh. It's like a mad science club now! Yeah, the Great Base Body Drought is still somewhat ongoing, though hopefully now that the last of the Saber preorders are getting shipped that should be getting better in a few months. The Dolpa Sendai shipment of DDIII/WS DDS/DDDyIII/MDDIII should be hitting the US in October or November (keep watching their blog, they usually announce that stuff before it goes on sale: http://site.volksusa.com/blog/ ) unfortunately those bodies come in parts rather than whole, so you'll want to be ninja when they come online. We're also all hoping that they'll step up base body production in general soon, though until we see more restocks on the JP side it'll be hard to tell. So, what head(s) are you considering for your girl? It's always interesting to see what people do with their custom girls as they all turn out so different.
