Out of curiosity, how long did it take for VOLKS to process your payment? It took them 16 days to process my payment on the 20th.

No point trying to figure out a pattern, I guess. You paid after me but your order was processed before mine Ah well, I'm in no hurry. I've waited 11 months for Kos to come home so I can wait a couple more weeks

Thank you! Back in early 2010 when I got Saber the aftermarket prices weren't that crazy yet and I won Lily in the lottery so they were relatively "cheap".

It seems that those of us that are waiting for Momo from Volks USA will have to wait a bit longer. From what I was told in an email they're on a freight on the way to them right now and they should have them out to us within the month. Boo! I was hoping to have my Momo here for Christmas. xD

I paid on the 14th. They didn't charge me until dec 6th. 22 days. Still waiting for email or ems slip, whichever one I see first.

 

Going to wingmax store in Taipei tomorrow. I'll take some pictures.

So... has anyone else found they're missing pieces? I noticed that though I've not actually opened the plastic holding pieces I seem to have not been sent a dagger.

for me it slipped and slid to another part and was wedged in there. the plastic holders were indeed not very formfitting. they could learn a thing or two from the saint seiya myth cloths. those suckers are napped on tight

Ok, I'll actually open the plastic case up carefully and see if I can find it there. If it slid somewhere it lodged tightly because it didn't slide around inside when I turned the case around to see if I could get it to slide.

 

Kos-Mos to Miss Lottie conversion 85% complete! In case anyone was wondering (but I doubt you were...) Those are not Kos-Mos' default red eyes.

 

Volks could have done a little better on the wig... it is really thin where it parts, and those short stubby hairs behind her bangs are annoying. Despite that though, I really love her hair! It is perfect for her because of the length and the curls that she can have a really nice Victorian-esque updo as well. It will take me some time to figure out how to get her curls to behave and not clump together. I had it looking really nice before the pic and I went to show Raven and her wig fell off. Didn't surprise me too much since it was just sitting on her head with nothing gripping it on. Personally I like her small head so I'd rather adapt the wig to fit her rather than the other way around.

 

All that's left is to give her a new faceup and her own clothes, but until then I'm really happy with how she turned out! The only oddness about her is every time I see her she reminds me of my brother's youngest daughter.

 

 

I know this picture looks really wonky but I figured it would be the best way to show the comparison. For me at least, when the eyes pertain to a specific sculpt, seeing the blankly staring eyes sitting on a table top isn't helpful. The eye shape makes such a huge difference. Just stick your hand in front to block one side if it might make it easier to look at the eye types separately.

 

 

I really love the new eyes because they look so similar to her defaults, just more human and the mild shape difference gives her a softer overall look. I really didn't expect that the color would be identical, but its just a cool bonus!

My Kos did have her thigh gold snaps missing from the armour package. It was supposed to be taped beneath the dragontooth plastic but I just didn't get them. At that time, it was a week since the package arrived at my place so I wrote back to Volks immediately. I got an EMS number for my replacement part 2 weeks later.

 

If you are sure you can't find your missing knife, I suggest you write to Volks as soon as you can. They'll take care of it:)

Ugh, I'm still struggling to get my own Kos together. So many things have broken. One of the pegs that connects her chest armor part to her back armour part (can't reglue), her back hair piece with the gold chains (both pegs have come off, can't reglue), her wrist armour part's gold thingies (successfully reglued), the gold belt buckle for her leg cuff (successfully reglued), the gold spine piece that's attached to her collar (haven't tried regluing).

 

I don't know whether to contact Volks or what, since these things didn't arrive broken; rather, they broke while I was assembling her. The thing I'm most upset about is the gold hair chain thingy that attaches to her head piece... don't think I'll ever be able to reattach that.

 

I'm going to give one last go at getting her armour together. Curse those hip armour pieces that just don't want to stay on!

My Momo arrived a week ago. I only had the opportunity of unpacking her yesterday. One of her attachments to the box was loose but otherwise she seems 100% fine. I have her in the im@s At School outfit and white twin tailed Domuya wig. She is gorgeous. Wow.

Ah, I am very glad I didn't buy her if Kos if this easy to break. All you can do is tell volks and send pictures. I contacted them myself about a part that snapped but was ignored (I sent several emails) However many have received replacements, please tell us how it goes for you.

Volks USA just shipped my Momo out! She'll be arriving on the 27th according to my tracking.

I received my Momo too! Just in time for Christmas~ TTuTT I couldn't be happier~

I guess I got somewhat of a Christmas gift. Volks finally sent me the tracking for my kosmos today. Near the end of Christmas for me(6pm). Hope to see her soon. Finally get to wear all the outfits I bought for her.
