I guess I got somewhat of a Christmas gift. Volks finally sent me the tracking for my kosmos today. Near the end of Christmas for me(6pm). Hope to see her soon. Finally get to wear all the outfits I bought for her.

My kosmos was at Taiwanese customs today. Had to pay about $43. To get her out. Hopefully she will be home with in the next few days.

Momo came in yesterday, and I'm super happy! I need to style her wig a bit, and she's pretty much perfect, except for some loose parts and a weird thing with her wig. One of her curls is almost an inch shorter than the other one. Do other people have this? ( ≧Д≦)

Yes, Momo is supposed to have uneven sides on her wig.

Ahh, okay! I was comparing it to the official photos just now, and yeah, it looks the same!

 

I'm having a blast posing her thought! She's so much easier to pose than my Saber, it's like a dream.

I just got my kosmos last night. I'll take some pics tonight.

omg finally got kosmos! Thinking about the name carrie. >< had to do some mini shoots. some at home and some in estes park colorado (went with my family to contribute since they got really messes up from flooding, great shooting spot) after a stressful holiday season she's what i needed.

I know everyone who has gotten KOSMOS probably knows this but it is quite a workout to dress in her default. Gah! Took me upwards of two hours to get her it on - to top it off one of the golden arm thingies came broken. I'd email Volks for a replacement but hubby said not to bother, he'll just fix it. I was so tired dressing her up I wasn't even able to take pictures. Maybe tomorrow...

I agree >___< Picked them up yesterday and tried to dress Kosmos in her armor as well. It is tricky x___X Nothing came broken but be careful with her black hands. When I tried them on, they stained immediately (and some weird black powder came out of them O_o) I was too tired to finish it, so I dressed her in something else xDD Will try again, after I washed her black clothes The worst was her shoes/feet, won't really fit the way it should xD

No kiddin'! Still, two hours sounds like no time at all . Spent quite a bit more on my Kos but then I had to do minor surgery to her right hip (was waaay to stiff) and some other minor fixes here and there. I think the hardes part, at least for me, was to put on her "head band" (the one with the clear strap behind her head) so that the hair is hiding the sides of it. It gave me gray hairs and almost ruined her wig . Ended up attaching both ends of the clear strap to the "head band", pushed it on to her head over the wig then pulled the short hair out from underneath the headband. Not sure if that made any sense

Interesting! Had the exact same problem. I agree with your hubby though; a drop of glue will fix that.

Looks like everyone has had at least some (minor) issues with their Kos. Didn't have this problem with mine though.

had the same problem. one of the gold arm pieces CAME broken off. and the gold piece behind her head one of the pieces that attatch to the rest of the headgear broke off inside. easy fixes and the head gear stays perfectly even with an attacthing piece broken. but yea her armour is a special picture only thing for me lol. did it twice and i can put her together pretty fast but OMG the fragility of the armour AND sword scare the crap outta me

I do like Momo's sculpt but I'm not in love with her make-up, so she will have a face-up in a few days! ^_^

She looks great! So used to seeing her in her default pinkish wig I almost didn't recognize her. She looks good as a redhead. Only thing missing now is a pair of greenish eyes and freckles

Whooaa you've already guessed what I asked to the makeup artist to do XD it has been such a coincidence with the red wig! (I love freckles).
