I hope too many people don't back out by the time the orders are ready--it's easy to say "I'll save up by then!" But... I hope it doesn't end up being Volks's next disaster! Well, it probably won't be too hard to the sell extras.

Yeah I'm also a little worried =/ I've seen a lot of people who are used to collecting figures and who've never bought a dollfie order her. If they're anything like me I found it very hard to save money before getting into DD's ^^; Just hope people are thinking very carefully about it and whether they'll be able to save that much in time as it is a lot of money. At least Volks are pretty cool in allowing people to cancel before the 20th of Jan. =)

 

Still I reckon Volks will manufacture Kos-mos in 2 or 3 batches with the expectation that a percentage of people will flake out so that they don't over produce.

I know what you mean. Also, its so easy to get distracted by all the other DDs that Volks would produce in the meantime. I'm just hoping I wouldn't like any of the lottery releases in the meantime. So far though I'm beginning like Melty, I won't be entering for her. That being said if Volks releases Sasara in Paladin armor, I would be dead. Or any other DD in armor.

Oh, I so here you. I've Volks releases a Flandre Scarlet (Touhou) DD I think I might just cry. Then again, I've been able to resist other DD releases I've liked (Kos-Mos will be my first DD, and mostly because I know her aftermarket prices will be ridiculous), but still...

And there's a certain artist OOAK artist BJD being released around Christmas I want that I hope I won't go out of control bidding on (the last doll this person released sold for, like, $800+).

Probably the standard one. Product page says "DDS Base Body". Momo's outfit doesn't require seamless body either.

well i saw this vid on utube from kiminogirl or sumtin like that. and it shows a real unnatural shape when you bend her torso. i kinda really dislike the deformation. and with volks recent dds all being seamless i am a bit scared. maybe i should ask them about it

Standard is standard. Melty has seamless because of the outfit and the potentially visible belly button

And it's clearly labeled on the page - "One-Piece Torso". Momo doesn't have that label.

well it could be a long shot but im hoping they will has a pre order bonus of some kind like with rina and yuki. and hope it will be the swimsuit. in the game they were lets say pretty revealing

No, Volks USA has only Momo. Due to licensing, Kos-Mos is available only via Volks International website.

Definitely not. Single torso is only for some limited DDS bodies so far, and Kos-Mos has DD III with shapely bust part.

meh...being 666 doesn't bother me. lol Just a number between 665 and 667.

 

Personally I am kinds glad that neither are single torso. Those 'scare' me. If something happens to the internal structure it just seems to be a pickle to fix. And it looks weird 'sitting' from the photos I have seen.

I'd love to get M.O.M.O. but the long wait is putting me off.
