You'd pay the remainder later on. Actually they do say. For customers ordering by web, you register a credit card at the time of your order. Your card is charged when they ship out the goods in the fall. If you're in Japan, you can also choose COD if you like. The deposit you saw is under the "how to order at a Volks storefront" section. In that case, if you have the dolls shipped (free) to the same store you are placing the order at, you can reserve with a down payment of ~5K yen per doll and ~1K yen for the hand vulcan, with the rest due on pickup. Or you can prepay in full if you want. If you have the items shipped to your house or to a different Volks store, you must prepay in full only. Ordering in-store is only open to VS/VIP members so most people on the forums needn't worry too much about the details other than as a point of interest. You'll be going with the web option. That's the only ruleset up at the moment so that's all we have to go on, but remember... The rules for international orders may be the same or may be different.
