Or rather, the girl who I am getting mine from doesn't have it yet. I think Volks must be uber busy right now, I mean, I'm still waiting for my Lottery win Lucy too and that was a month ago. A month just to pack a doll seems like agony. I have no problem waiting for resin dolls that take 4 months to be manufactured, but knowing that Volks has this stuff made and waiting is making me climb the walls! And I'm not sure if all the gorgeous pictures are helping or making it worse hehe. instagram | twitter | tumblr | flickr

I payed on Nov 20th and received "Notice of Credit Card Payment Procedures Completion" email today. The order status on muy order now says "Order confirmed" instead of just "Order" as it did before. I'd say one has to wait at least four weeks from order confirmation date. VOLKS's website says that currently all orders are delayed an additional two weeks. So I guess that's in addition to the usual 14 days as stated in the order confirmation email. I just want the girls to come home so I can finish my split and finally play with her D: . All these gorgeous pics are driving me crazy (in a good way of course :p)! I hope everyone who's still waiting won't have to wait much longer >.<.

SisterKyoya Posted December 8, 2013 This is exactly why I have been so excited about Kos-Mos! I'm pretty darn sure the customs are going to be amazing. I can say I'm a bit jealous that some people can get theirs done now, it is way too cold here for me to spray Miss Lottie's hear without the sealant staying sticky. Sometime this spring I'll get her done, but until ten I can't wait for more custom pics! ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram

SisterKyoya Posted December 8, 2013 Since Raven's at work, I thought I'd let Sohi play with some clothes and apparently Rainie's wig. I would have changed her eyes too... but Raven would have noticed. ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram
Misuka Posted December 9, 2013 May I ask what the size is for the wig & which wig you used on her? I kinda like that wig (and the hairstyle you did is amazing) I believe this is a heat-resistant wig in (Milk?) from Leeke. I don't remember what style it is, I'm sorry. Its the 9-10 size and the 8-9 would probably fit better (and look better) but since Leekes wigcap is very stiff it seems to hold on just fine. Sorry for the late response. SisterKyoya Posted December 11, 2013 With Rainie's wig she looks like an older Rainie I have another pic with Sohi in Bree's eyes and wig... and it confuses me most of the time when I look at the pic what girl its supposed to be. After Raven and I compared their sculpts side by side... we realized that Sohi has been so mysterious because she has been waiting for us to realize that she's Bree's older sister... When we were looking at the other colors of Bree style eyes, Raven decided that he really liked the blue pair. As we were doing that, I made the very huge mistake of pointing out that the orange pair looked nice to but wouldn't work for Sohi because it was a very boy color. A few minutes later we were talking about how our DD don't seem to come just in pairs, but also in sets of three (Rainie, Ringo, & Ralph, then there is Miku, Kiyoteru, & Len, as well as a couple of other sets we want to work on) and Raven had Sohi going on about how she missed her sister, and her brother, and I just thought he was mimicking what Rainie had said for months about Ringo and Ralph. I corrected him and said that Rainie never mentioned Ralph until he just popped up last Christmas. Then Raven corrected me and said that Sohi was referring to her brother and sister (since Bree isn't complete yet.) All I could say was "What?!?" And Raven said "There are the orange eyes and that boy on your list... That's their brother!" I groaned because I instantly knew who he was referring to. Its a little demon boy that uses the same sculpt as Bree, a character from the first manga I ever read. I've wanted to make him, but I didn't expect that Raven would pluck him out of obscurity from the bottom of my DD wish list and give him an important place in our family. Part of the trouble with him is he can go from MDD to DD size... so double the bodies and double the clothes for one character... Most of all I suddenly realized that my #1 enabler has been sneaking around my house, planting ideas in my head when I wasn't looking for them, and pretending that it wasn't his fault. (In fact, he just said he had nothing to do with it! ) Mr. high and mighty always saying, "I only have two girls!" and yet he gets the full benefit of all the other that I have without having to make them clothes, do the photo shoots, or figure out how they even deal with each other! At least he makes up for it by funding the venture so he can have all these minions filling his home... I plan on doing some photos later of Bree & Sohi together to show how freaking similar their sculpts are, but I'll have to borrow Rainie/Ringo/Ralph's eyes since those are the only identical ones we have right now. ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram
Kushina Posted December 11, 2013 Still no new message from Volks... so that means I will get my girls after christmas or the next year. So disappointed I think the next time I will save up a little more money and just buy the doll on the after market, less frustrating even if I have to pay more... I was really looking forward getting them at least before christmas I mean seriously? More than Six freaking weeks and all I get is "Sorry we have many orders, be more patient." So mean T___________________T (Sorry if I'm bothering but they are the first complete new Dolls I get. And now I see so many pictures for weeks, but my own girls might not arrive this year T___________T) Dollfie Family: DD Emilia - DD Mashiro Mito (Custom) - DD Asuna Titania - DDdy Sasara - DD Kirika - DDH16 Tan - DD Rin Tohsaka
shinegamix Posted December 11, 2013 hey maybe after the first few complaints got in for sucky quality control. they are now double checking their dolls to make sure you get proper working ones. in my opinion its better then waiting in the customer service limbo. i am still waiting for new legs to put on momo. if they are ever going to send them making my triumphant return
Nanoza Posted December 11, 2013 hey maybe after the first few complaints got in for sucky quality control. I don't think volks cares anymore. The service and company is the worst of the worst. They have been known to ignore emails (read it on a few sites) I think the next time I will save up a little more money and just buy the doll on the after market, less frustrating even if I have to pay more... To everyone thinking of ordering from volks...it is much easier and less stressful to use a proxy. The doll will often have been "checked" for defects (unless she is sealed) yes you will pay more...Possibly 150 dollars more, but keep in mind that I am glad I payed extra for my Asuna simply because right now I would be fuming with this god awful service. Some paid over a month ago and still no shipping notice. companies like mandy,1999 and amiami deal with a much bigger volume of parcels and send them out within days, some hours. Boycott Volks? Sounds cool to me. This is simply not fair on buyers like Kushina who wanted them for christmas. Volks had a year to sort this, they failed. Honestly, I just want to quit this hobby. It's no fun. It's no fun. i dont know how large volks is as a operation. there are probably alot more factors in play here. you need to remember that the companies you mention are specialised in repacking and shipping whereas volks expect the people that do paint or customer service also do packing and shipping. sure they had a year the time for it. yes they knew how much was needed for production. but did they hire the right amount of staff for it? it all falls down to management. they probably drove the workers into overtime alot. to increase profits they can pocket themselves. so dont boycot volks. boycot the management making my triumphant return

But if Volks did a little more planning ahead of time it would go a long way. Volks desperately needs new management, I don't know how many Xenosaga girls were ordered but I hope they get sent out soon to all buyers.
