MDD or DDS?

So I had planned on making Maisie a DDS girl around 13 yrs old. Yesterday I received her frame and was able to complete the DDS body. I put her together and....didn't like it! I don't know if its because I got so used to seeing her on an MDD body but its not clicking for me.

 

Today I saw the new standard MDD Rena, and the similarity to my girl convinced me I should keep her as an MDD. Maybe change her age to around 10 yrs old. But I do want some member opinion. So which do you like better?

...I know, I'm no help. I've found that when changing a DD to a different body, it tends to take some getting used to. I'm still not sure I like my Airy as a DDdy...

I think the face fits better on the MDD body. She looks nice on the DDS body, but like a girl that just hit puberty and a growth spurt before her face matured? I don't know if that makes sense, but those are my two cents!

Runt or not, I find Maisie does look better as an MDD..... (even if Airy picks on her forever )

 

If you do still have another floating head around, the DDS body just might be handy!

I have to say that since I really love the 01 head girls, I'm happy seeing her on either body. She looks good on the DDS body, very similar to my Mamimi. I think it works well for her.

 

BUT....

 

Personally, I like Maisie better as an MDD girl. I think Waha has ruined me on MDD girls, especially 01 head ones! All of his are just so nicely done and super adorable. So if I were you, and I'm not, I'd keep Maisie on the MDD body.

I also cast my vote for the MDD. I had this same issue with Rainie but kinda the other way around. I had intended her to be a DDS, but once I put her head on the DD body (since it is not much bigger than the DDS) it actually freaked me out because it made her look much older than I wanted her to be. A while after that I tried her out on the MDD body and just loved her on it, it fit her spunky personality perfectly. Also the slightly big head just cracks me up.

MDD for me, too. But if you are wavering, keep her on the DDS body for a week or so and see if it you get more used to it.

Thanks for your input everyone! She will stay an MDD. It definitely feels more right to have her be the runt!

I'm also in the group that prefers her as an MDD. Though maybe it's just me, but I'd like to see a story where she at least *imagines* being more grown up--may as well let her take the DDS body for a spin for a little bit. =P

MDD all the way. Her head looks strangely small on the DDS body (IMO). She is so cute on the MDD though!

Add my vote for MDD. She looks really cute on the DDS, but the MDD is just a tiny bit better look for that face. Also, there are not NEARLY enough MDDs running around here yet, and Yuriko can't get enough of their overwhelming cuteness.

I know Tama-chan would appreciate it too, then Yuriko wouldn't keep squealing at him all the time and trying to hug him. Yuriko is just overwhelming to him a lot of the time...

After looking at the pictures for a while I like her on the DDS body better for some reason.. But I know I'm in the minority on that opinion lol
