Hey All!

A big hello to everyone!

 

So... to be honest, I've always hated doing these things... not because I'm a private person, but there's just a really fine line between a good introduction, and a rambling mess.

 

Firstly, my name is Tallenvyaere (it's easier to go by Tallen). I'm 23, and live close to Toronto, Ontario. My collection of dolls so far are purely resin BJDs. However, this is about to change, as I just jumped into an order for two DD-07 heads! I'm not sure I'll be keeping both heads, but I've always liked the idea of having twins, and this head just gave my heartstrings the biggest tug that I thought I'd take the risk and order two. I really enjoy knitting and sewing, though my schedule these days with having a full-time job and a puppy that demands a lot of attention, I find that I've been pushing the latter off to the side.

 

I really don't know what else to write, but feel free to ask me questions! I'm a very open person, and will happily answer anything you guys throw at me.

Welcome aboard! Glad to see you're getting into the DD world with the new 07 heads! What kind of bodies do you have in mind for them if you keep them both? Any ideas on names or styles for them?

I'm probably going to order two of the normal DD bodies (I only see the DDII bodies on VolksUSA, but I know they're up to the DDIII bodies, so I'm a wee bit confused as to what body type I can get), as I intend to get a DD-01 head on a DDS body down the line as a 'little sister'.

 

As for names, I'm leaning towards Emiko and Chiye Hatsukare. Emiko's going to be a bit more sensual than Chiye, so I might lean towards getting her the Shapely L bust, with Chiye getting an M bust... then again, maybe I'll switch it around with the 'bookworm' sister getting the big boobs, and the sister who wants the big boobs getting the smaller ones! For eyes, I'd like them to have one blue, and one green eye each, and as for hair, that's currently up in the air, but I'm thinking longer styles. I want them to be as identical as possible, so hair color will be the same, but I do want some differences so that they're at least somewhat unique.

I don't think they have any more DDII bodies available thru Volks right now even tho they are still listed. If you hit the "add to cart" button for any of them, I'm pretty sure none are in stock. Volks has been having a body drought lately due to the big Saber fiasco. And I'm pretty sure all new bodies will be the DD3 style so you won't be able to buy them as a whole body, you'll have to order them in parts and build it yourself. Not that it's hard to build one, it's just hard getting parts for a complete one right now.

 

I like the idea of an 01 head for a DDS girl, she should turn out quite cute.

I like the names, very nice! And the plan for the different chest sizes sounds like you might have your hands full, in one way or another. The plan for 2 color eyes for each girl is neat too, I like seeing that on girls.
