Secret joint

I just got my first DD girl so heres my noob Q

what is the secret joint? I read something about it being interchangeable with DDIII, is it sort of like the replacement parts?

Do you buy them from Volks?...If they ever re-stock...

Hidden joints are discussed here. They're pretty flexible, especially compared to most resin.

You can swap the arms of a DDII with those of the DDS or DDIII to increase flexibility.

It can be really hard to pull the joint out. Warming with a hair dryer can help.

It helped having the video I know that there pretty sturdy but the internal skeleton breaking scares me a little.

That is the interesting thing. The DDII is really sturdy and rarely breaks. The DDIII and DDS bodies have been surprising in their tendency to break. We are wondering if they changed the formulation of the material used to make the parts. They have been making improvements to the DDIII and DDS so they won't break so easily.

I don't want to start a diff topic on this thread, but that's even scarier! perhaps I will just get a II body instead of saving for the 3

If you were to swap the DDII arms for DDS or DDIII ones, just remember that the DDS arms are a bit shorter than DDII/III arms and may look a little off.
