Wig test and poll

Hi I'm Rise and I'm waiting some of my new stuff to arrive ^^

 

First is the parcel from Finland with some precious stuff to me. I always loved Haruka's eyes and I've also purchased Alna's white christmas wig from Maarit... who also gave me a new bust ^^ Thaaanks honey! this photoshot is dedicated to you!

Pelusa also loves new M bust hehe

 

And then is my main problem... I bought from Misskale GO this wig because I didn't find very Risette the default one.

So this is my new wig for Rise! (the eyes are from Haruka)

 

And my problem is if I should take the scissors for cutting her bangs&back or leave the Leeke wig as it is ^^ there are deachatable pieces but I'm too ducky for remove them without making a mess.

 

 

So my poll: Scissors or leave it alone?

I've trimmed quite a few of my girls bangs and wigs before using scissors and it's been pretty easy to do. I just had to make sure to only cut a very little bit at a time. That way I don't cut off too much.... you can always cut off more but you can't put it back on!

 

So if you want that new wig to look more like Rise's default one, I'd trim back the bangs a bit.

I second trimming the bangs; having the bangs shorter makes styling MUCH easier. I've been so glad ever since I trimmed Agatha's, though I still need to trim the bangs on the Leeke wig I got Nanoha. (I don't think I'll be trimming her default since it's so hard to come by.)

 

As for the curls, they are pretty cute, but I've heard curls are kind of a pain to maintain. Maybe loosening them to a strong wave (via warm water and combing) would be a good compromise.

I vote for cutting the bangs too. Just cut little bit at a time and cutting it in layers.

That's why I bought another with the same colour, the problem is I'm afraid of making a mess with the cheap aswell xD I was planning to loosen its curls too so your tips are well welcomed ^^ Thanks!

 

@Maarit: Haruka's eyes are now living inside her head forever xD she looks so cute with them! I love it!

I've actually done something similar. It was for a very stubborn play line doll wig. To loosen the curls, I just heated some water in the microwave (I didn't boil the water on the stove, since my niece wanted to help). Then, I poured the water over the wig into a small bowl and let it sit until the water cooled back down to room temperature. Then, I poured ice water over the wig and let it sit in the ice water for a few minutes. It works pretty well, but you may have to do it a few times to get the desired results.

 

I'd trim the bangs, too, if your going for her in-game look.

Trimming the bangs for sure... although I'm not sure I'd trim the curls... if this is one of those wigs with the weird "tail" at the back of the head... unless you trim that off too XD

 

I think the new wig looks great, though, very cute, and very much like Rise's default wig!!

I LOVE the White Christmas Alna wig too 0_0
