Hello from chocolate country

Hello,

 

I'll give a twist to introduce myself since I'm new to this forum and also new to Dollfies.

Oh,for those who wonder...chocolate country is Belgium. Well,some will say it's Waffle country or beer country but since I like chocolate...It's chocolate for me =D

 

I'm a 28 year old male who will start to collect Dollfies. I didn't recieved my first dollfies yet but I'll be getting it around end of this month ^_^

I won the auctions on Miki Hoshii Dream dollfie (though I rather they bring out Chihaya but oh well...) / Saber lily & saber extra (always a fan of saber) on Yahoo Japan today so hopefully,they will arrive end of this month (if the custom doesn't do "hide the box" game with me again)

 

I'll be getting 3 dollfies in 1 day since it will make my 3 glasses closet well with my large collection of obitsu dolls. So I guess i'll be getting a triplets daughters o__O

 

I been collecting obitsu dolls for +7 years (mainly anime ones) and I started to try make cloths for them myself. Shouldn't be that hard since I'm a main designer for a big company who design socks =3

 

 

My other hobby is mountainbike & drawing.

Euhm...that's it for now that I can tell about me but I hope I'll enjoy the stay of this community

I saw your title and thought chocolate straight away 8D I LOVE chocolate too !

 

Congratulations on three gorgeous girls! How exciting! I'm waiting on three girls as well but they won't be home as fast. Do you plan on customizing them? What kinds of clothes are you planning?

 

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your girls as much as your others !

I haven't customize them yet. I have my miki & saber (extra) at my vintrine closet & kept my saber lily in box (unpacked).

 

But next month,i'll be getting my 2 new girls (both asuna doll's) at my house. When that happend,I'm thinking of building my own dollfie into a Sword art online Silica to match the asuna's...

 

Which 3 girls will you get? =)

I loved Asuna- unfortunately, I couldn't win her. I can't wait to see your girls. I think that Silica would be a super-cute dollfie- and Yui too! ! Do you have a certain model in mind for Silica?

 

I have Momo from Xenosaga on pre-order, and Yoko Littner from Gurren Lagann on her way home. I have also just purchased an Akiyama Mio doll !

So far,I had in mind (ordered already) to use a DDH-04 for silica but I havent think which body to use yet. (and someone else made a silica too using a DDH-04 head so that confirm that I didnt pick the wrong choice at begin )

 

For the rest,I'll have to read more topics how to do the make up / trim hair / sew cloths / make armor & dagger...basicly,still alot to learn but that's what make it excited cuz it's a something new

 

Yoko doll. Intersting. Cuz the doll I want to make after Silica (depend if it went well or not...) would need a pants like Yoko

 

Should meet up irl one day at an event. Last Made in Asian (belgium) I met a girl who has like a stand with +10 dolls and it was fun talking about it in RL.

Ooh! DDH-04 would be a perfect Silica ! I bet your customizing will go well!

 

I need to learn to trim hair properly too! It's hard Dx If I were to make a Silica, I'd probably get her one of those wigs with the bunches that clip on *nodnod*

@shinegamix: oh great....another blow in my bankaccount. If only I didn't order the dual cannon from kos-mos But I guess I'll have to see if chihaya looks good as dollfie or not.
