Reviving this if it's all right? 😄 I tried my best to banner-ify a few photos. They felt summer-y enough, since it's almost summer.

Of course it's ok. I always said people could submit photos without me posting any themes. The posts were mostly as a reminder that it was time to collect some new ones. I've been distracted by other things for a few months now.

Yes, I've been lax on updating the thread, but as long as people are submitting images I'll make sure to get them into the rotation monthly.

It's about time to get my banner image updated as well. So here's a new image with a summer festival vibe:

I am no photographer, but I really wanted to submit a photo of Khepra for the banner! Trying to achieve that summer vibe, without actually going outside.

I hope these are formatted somewhat correctly. I was going for a summery feel, but she is wearing a coat in the first one, so maybe it's not quite there. Credit to Frollywog, if needed.

I braved the Arizona summer heat right now for a few shots. I hope the aspect ratio is correct!

We're heading into fall, so possible options for themes are:

End of summer.

School starts, or for a Japanese theme I believe it would be end of summer vacation, and students would still wear the summer uniform in September.

Change of Season.

Foliage frolicking.

Harvest.

For those in the southern hemisphere Spring themes are perfectly fine.

Would I be able to use Shiro from No Game No Life? I don’t have her correct outfit, yet but I could do Jibril and Shiro together. Not that Shiro goes to school, but that wasn’t a rule 😂

 

my Birthday is mid September, and I game a custom doll her my birthday too.

Those are suggestions not rules. You can do whatever photos you like as long as the doll(s) that are the main focus are on topic, and the images themselves don't violate the content rules. There is no requirement that the photos follow any of the suggestions. 

I guess, some photos from my most recent outdoor photoshoot would make some decent September banners:

Or maybe it's Oct 31st - Halloween, after all... what do I know about doll holidays?

Possible themes are:

Halloween costumes.

Witches and Magic.

Fall.

Pumpkins.

Fallen Leaves.

Scarecrows.

Horror Films.

Tailgating.

Hay Rides.

 

Or you could find a 1/3 scale garbage can and make Hatsune Miku the Grouch...
