Your favourite DD Head?

DDS Chihaya, I'm too used to this head. one is never enough...

For me, it's got to be Mariko. I've been in love with her ever since Mariko-sensei, but didn't get into owning DD until later. I finally have my Mariko now (Festival version).

 

I love her most because she's just like my main original character design, no mods needed

Oh, goodness... that's hard. My favorite standard head is easily DDH-06, but my favorite limited head has to be either Melty or Akira.

My taste have change over the years of collecting but I have a weak spot for...

I'm actually really jealous from everyone who posted in this thread: as a newbie who has never owned a DD I can barely recognize them at all!

 

On the other hand is also something good because, even though I have looked at so many photos, if I cant recognize them means they are extremly customizable, right?? I mean, all those moded DDH01 are still the same mold but look extremly different. The make up makes a huge difference too!

 

If I had too choose, tho....

 

Either Hatsune Miku, because I really like the expression or a no-mouth mod DDH01!

I'm not sure if I can just narrow it down to just one, but my top four favorite heads are:

 

- Saber

- Asuna

- #06

- #07

 

I don't have 06 or 07 yet, but I hope to acquire at least one in the next year.

Lucy or Sakuno

they're both so shy and cute looking, but if I had to choose I would go with Lucy

Sakuya for sure, it is the very DD that actually appeals to me, consequently making me entering this hobby.

 

Other head models I like includes Kirika and Sasara, though the enthusiasm I have for them can never amount to that I hold for Sakuya.

Is there a database anywhere showing all the heads side-by-side?

I am not sure. Maybe Kos-Mos, or M.O.M.O. They are both really lovely and I hope to get them someday.

I also have a weak spot for 01 heads (with their mouths sanded off)!

For the standard heads, DDH-09~ I think the shape is very feminine and beautiful.

My favourite DD heads would be Miki Hoshii and Melty heads~

They both have this cat like mischievous eyes and smile!

Standard head, I'd choose H07, just because I'm thinking of making my first boy Dollfie with this head

Limited run I'd say Moe and Mari (Mari would make a cute boy as well)

My favorite head - Melty, she was my first DD and also so cute: DDH-06, DDH-09, Mariko, Arle and Alice.

I really like the DDH-07 , 06 and 03 and I've seen a head with elf ears. don't know if the are customs or a limited one but I love elf ears

Yukiho's sculpt. It's so soft and sweet. Love it to death!

Takane. Absolutely and unequivocally my favorite. I will probably never have her because I am too antsy about getting such a rare doll, but she is by far my favorite DD sculpt and probably doll sculpt in general.

I think her mold would be perfect for a character I really love, but only at a later point in that character's story, and while in dreams it would be nice to have a separate head for each stage of her character progression that seems unlikely to happen anytime soon>___<

Among the limiteds... Torn between Rise Kujikawa and Sheryl Nome as my absolute favorite! I'm definitely drawn to the sculpts with features closer to the ones you see on resins.

 

Among the standard heads... 06, hands down favorite.

When I first discovered Dollfie Dreams, I felt for sure Saber Lily was my absolute favorite.

Then I saw Rin Tohsaka, and I just can't get enough of her either!

 

So now I have 2!!

 

My favorite DD heads tend to have the more "mature" look, like Saber Lily and Rin.

I would say Rise.

 

As much as I love my 1st DD Alisa & my newly acquired Saber Alter's faces, Rise stood out the most. The Persona 4 art style transitioned very well, creating a unique and realistic Dollfie Dream. Her face just has that charm that most of the dollfies I've seen don't have.

I've admired Saber Extra and Saber Lily for a while now, so much so that I think I may end up getting Nero for my first LE girl if the next preorder isn't to my fancy.

 

As for standard heads. The 07 takes my breath away every time. I love the maturity of the sculpt and I just adore that there are these gorgeous ultra feminine versions and then there are 07 boys. It's just so versatile!

Among the limiteds, my favorites are Makoto, Sheryl, and Tohsaka Rin(with v.2 faceup)! I doubt I'll ever be able to get them though! ^^

 

My favorite standard heads are DDH-09 and DDH-06. So cute and versatile!
