I know of the DW one but I was just curious if there were other GO going on for these two prepainted heads :3 or if anyone here was thinking about starting one. Poofiemus Posted September 18, 2012 Gah, that 05! So pretty! It also shows really clearly how much Volks has refined their DD faceups over the years. Compare the new prepaint head to the faceup on the old Sirius variants--sure, the Sirius ones aren't bad per se, but they don't have the subtlety and detail this one does. Also, is it just me, or is that 06 wearing a new eye style? I hope so; while I'm not huge on red eyes most of the time the style itself is neat, so I'd love to see them in other colors. Oh well though I didn't have my heart set on the 06 but I kinda wanted the 05... Billy They're charging 1000 yen extra for that head than they normally charge for the pre-paints, so you're definitely paying for those eyes. It's just part of the set. The new 06 prepaint is called the "Magical Ruby version", based off the character Magical Ruby from the fictional Magical School anime that is part of the Afterschool Akihabara Girls mythos. Natsuki cosplays as Magical Ruby, hence the outfit they made for Natsuki, but this head is supposed to be Magical Ruby herself. The eyes Volks made for Magical Ruby are custom red animetic eyes, not of any type offered for regular sale. They're included with the 06-Head, but they are not a freebie. The Magical Ruby head costs 1000 yen more than a typical prepaint head (9800 yen vs 8800 yen). She looks really nice. SakuraSylph Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
